Civil War Pens

The Penmaker was faster at his
craft than I was at mine. Here are two Civil War pens he turned today.


This is made of Cottonwood Burl...


and this one is Buckeye Burl. It is so figured
and full of eyes that I had to show you both front and back.


This side looks totally different.
Wood is truly one of God's amazing wonders.

    My goodness! The burl is gorgeous! Absolutely love burl wood. Am lucky enough to have some furniture with it. Tell the penmaker he rocks!
