The Shade Garden

I'm working on a graphics project for a friend
right now and haven't had time to create anything... paperwise.

So I ran to the shade garden and
snapped a few photos. Thought you might enjoy looking at our day lilies that are all about to bloom.

I haven't gotten many annuals planted
this year... the wheel barrel is still empty. It's normally overflowing with pink impatiens.

This is my favorite piece.

Our dog Cassidy strikes a pose while trying to
scare up a snake or two.

Hope you all have a great week. Will be back
as quick as I can... maybe I can finish up tonight!

  1. What an absolutely beautiful, peaceful garden, Linda! I could sit out there for hours enjoying the beauty...unless Cassidy scared up a snake or two (eek!)! I love the iron piece...is it a trellis, or gate? Just beautiful :)

  6. I can see why this would be a favorite spot...so pretty and serene. Love the statue and the wrought iron piece! (I'm a little worried about the dog scaring up snakes, however!)
