Christmas Gift Card Holders

Hi friends and Happy Saturday!
After the festivities, I'm busy organizing my pantry and moving around a lot of stuff that needs a new home. I've been creating in my craft room, but I'll save those projects to show you on a later post. Right now, I have some super cute gift card holders to show that I found here. I thought they were wonderful, so I made four of my version. I used paper from the Tidings 8x8 Christmas Stash by Tim Holtz, red cardstock and gold glittered corrugate from Hobby Lobby. Very quick and easy with lovely results. I recommend you try this pattern for your next gift card holder project.

Christmas Gift Card Holders

I know... Christmas is
past, but maybe these gift card holders can inspire you to make something similar for a birthday or Valentines Day. I made these following Arlene's (Butterfly Kisses blog) basic instructions on her video here. I used the last of my Graphic 45's Christmas Emporium music sheets paper for these plus some of their Nutcracker Sweet and whatever bits I had left from making the Christmas tags.
Have a wonderful day after Christmas! Love you guys!!!

Candy Canes And A Gingerbread Man

Unless an unforeseen
emergency arises, this will be my last Christmas gift card holder. Yes!... I love checking off items on my "to do list".

These sweet papers from
Graphic 45's Nutcracker Sweet collection are "Land of Sweets", "Holiday Magic" and "Endearing Sentiments".

I did lots of fussy
cutting with this one. I just adore these candy canes with the ribbon swirls.

Recycled Starbucks Sleeve

You know those sleeves
you get on your Starbucks cups? They are great to make into mini albums and (of course) gift card holders...

I always save a few of
these to alter, and still had this one from last Christmas.

I gave it a spray of
LSG Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz, then glued on a couple of rhinestone snowflakes. Added a few embellishments, an I Am Roses flower with some Alterations Mini Holly leaves and popped in a Starbucks card.

All set to give away!
I can just see the sweet recipients sipping their hot beverages... ahhhh... bliss!

Gift Cards

I love when someone
gives me a gift card, and better yet... I LOVE to give them!

I need to have several
holders made for Christmas, so I started this morning with this one. Why does something so simple take me so long? Over embellishing perhaps?

I cut out this pocket
using Alterations Pocket Envelope die and Basic Grey Oxford "Lacrosse" paper. The image is cut from Echo Park's This & That Christmas "Holly Berries" backside. The stack of die cuts are... in order from the bottom... Spellbinders Large Classic Circles, Alterations Mini Tickets, Alterations Tattered Pinecone (made this into a rose) and Alterations Mini Holly. The two Cherry blossoms are I Am Roses, that I sprayed with LSG Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz. The French Lace paper doily is from an Etsy shop, the satin snowflake is trim from May Arts and the rhinestone is by Teresa Collins.

The tag slips into the
pocket and holds the gift card with a glue dot.
I hope you are getting
all the last of your shopping, baking, etc, etc, etc finished. Wow... I still have a lot to do!!!
Enjoy the fun and blessings of making something nice for those you love!

Gift Card Holders

Here are a few gift card
holders I've made for my family. These were very simple to do and fun to embellish.

I started with #8 manilla tags
and covered one side with DP. Glued on a mini bag from Canvas Corp. Topped that with a strip of ribbon, a torn piece of Canvas Corp natural flute that I first sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist. I next added an image piece cut from Graphic 45" Christmas Emporium.

I finished up with a Glimmer Misted
rose, a piece of ribbon fastened with a Teresa Collins brad, a May Arts burlap string bow and holly covered with Rock Candy Stickles.

Hugs!
