Truly Scrumptious Challenge #73

is the challenge at Truly Scrumptious. Here is my Smitten card that I am entering...

I used more of the My
Mind's Eye Love Me Collection for this one... "Banners", "Plaid" and the accessory sheet. The script paper was a scrap from my stash. They are all sponged with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

The pearl trim, lace, the
rosette and button were all from my stash.

I painted the Maya Road
chipboard frame with Americana Cool White acrylic paint. When it had dried, I brushed on a coat of gloss Mod Podge and immediately sprinkled on Twinklets Diamond Dust. It went atop my Etsy purchased image.

I used Spellbinder's
Lacey Circles die and a white paper doily from my stash.
The winner of this
challenge will receive a $20.00 gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp to spend online.

Thank you for the visit!
Hugs!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #70

The last challenge for the
year at Truly Scrumptious is - "Christmas Project with Pearls or Vintage".
Here is mine with pearls...

I used only white and blue
cardstock and did some embossing with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dot Folder and die cutting with Spellbinder's Fleur De Lis Squares.

At the end of the season last
year, I bought four packages of these Darice Christmas Finishing Accents Chipboard Stickers at Pat Catan's for fifty cents each. What a deal that was!

Used my Martha Stewart Doily
Lace Punch and added lots of Recollections Pearls and TPC Studio "Reel Me In" Jewels. Sponged on Faded Jeans Distress Ink... a perfect match to the Tim Holtz Core'dinations blue cardstock.

Inside the frame is a small piece
of the backside of my favorite copper sheeting... kind of looks like a mirror. The snowflake was another of last year's bargains that I drenched in Glossy Accents and Twinklets Diamond Dust.
Now I must get to the kitchen and start baking!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs!

Time For Fall

The weather here has turned
from sunny and glorious to rainy and nasty. Rather typical for Ohio autumn. When I saw the challenge at CCCB was a color challenge using cream and black I immediately thought of creamy white pumpkins. Here is the card I created...

Ivory and black cardstock
teamed up with My Mind's Eye Blush "Princess" Pintuck. I've used this paper for nearly everything I've made in the last two weeks... love the stripes! Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and Antique Linen Distress Ink was used on all.

The pumpkin was cut with Sizzix
Pumpkins #2 and  Tim Holtz Alterations Mini Branch & Leaf Set and distressed with Antique Linen Distress Ink then popped up with 3-D adhesive foam squares. The leaves and branch were cut from scraps in my stash.

Applied a bit of Antique Linen
on this Tattered Angels Travel Card and added some Bo Bunny Forever Fall Jewels for the hands. I used TPC Studio's Autumn Harvest Set and black Archival Ink for my sentiment. Finished with three I Am Roses flowers.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
City Crafters Challenge - A Boo-tiful Color Challenge
Sentimental Sundays - Anything Goes
Truly Scrumptious - Distressing

Have a happy day and thanks for visiting!

Happy 30th Birthday

Tomorrow my son, Seth will
be thirty. Cannot believe that... but never the less, it's true. I wanted to share with you the card I made for him... a typical masculine one.

The base is ivory cardstock
teamed up with Teresa Collins fabulous World Traveler "College" and My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two Blush "Princess" Pintuck.

I placed my stamped
sentiment inside a Tim Holtz Ornate Plate.

This is the inside before I
finished it with a little cash tucked into that mini bag and a note printed on cardstock that was adhered just to the right of it.
I also used: Black Archival Ink, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, TH Paper Distresser, 3-D foam adhesive squares, TH Salvage Sticker, black adhesive backed alphas from my stash.
I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Truly Scrumptious - Distressing
