Train Theme Birthday Card

Hello dear friends!
Just dropping in to show you a train themed pocket card with a masculine look.

My stash of papers has really gone down, but I found a small amount of this Graphic 45 I Think I Can from the Playtimes Past collection. I was able to put this together by adding some pieces from Tim Holtz Layers Collector pack and a bit of corrugate. The pin stripe pattern is from G45 as well, but I'm not sure from which collection. I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment and heat embossed it with Ranger's Super Fine Gold EP. The timepiece is from Hobby Lobby and the chain and clip are Idea-ology products. Tied my tag with a piece of natural jute twine.

I cut the gears from glitter paper using Alterations Thinlits Gearhead. I had to have gears with a train, right? Anyway, I love that bit of sparkle.

Wintery Thank You Cards

Hi crafting friends!
With this cold spell we're having in our neck of the woods, I think these wintery themed thank you cards are appropriate.

This last year I didn't buy any new papers since I had loaded up pretty heavy on winter themed stuff in 2016. So these may look similar to those I did last year... same papers but different designs with the addition of lots of glitter paper.

As I mentioned, my papers are all from 2016 collections by Kaisercraft and Bo Bunny. Suppose I should do some shopping to add to my winter stash, but Valentine's Day papers seem more inviting to me than snowy ones.

Have you seen anything new that you like in the paper line? Soon all the new product will be coming out and Creativation 2018 will be in full swing. I always look forward to the Trade Show and plenty of new collections, dies, stamps, etc to look over. It always gets me motivated.

Have a great Wednesday friends!

Christmas Card Trio

Hello dear friends... Happy New Year!
I hope that those of you in the US are surviving the frigid temperatures we having.

I have three more Christmas cards that didn't get posted earlier. All very simple, but glittery.

For this one, I tried my hand at stamping with several shades of green. I need a lot more practice at this. Guess I needed to start somewhere, right? Anyway, I thought the card itself turned out okay.

I hope you all have a great week, and I'll be back soon.

Christmas Gift Card Holders

Hi friends and Happy Saturday!
After the festivities, I'm busy organizing my pantry and moving around a lot of stuff that needs a new home. I've been creating in my craft room, but I'll save those projects to show you on a later post. Right now, I have some super cute gift card holders to show that I found here. I thought they were wonderful, so I made four of my version. I used paper from the Tidings 8x8 Christmas Stash by Tim Holtz, red cardstock and gold glittered corrugate from Hobby Lobby. Very quick and easy with lovely results. I recommend you try this pattern for your next gift card holder project.

The Most Wonderful Time of The Year Card

Hi friends!
I've one last card to show you before Christmas, then I will take a short break. I'll be back in a few days to show you the rest of the cards I had created for family and friends.
For this card I wanted to do some stamping. I used my Artistic Outpost set Midwinter. I love this set because it lends itself equally to Christmas as well as winter cards. I like my products to be dual duty to get the most for my investment.

I used my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform for the stamping and used a piece of Kaisercraft patterned paper that would match my base, which is from their 6.5" paper pad Just Believe. I cut the stamped piece with my Alterations Thinlits Stitched Circles and backed it with corrugated gold glitter paper I bought at Hobby Lobby. I cut it with Spellbinders Classic Circles.

Beneath it is a piece from the Idea-ology Christmas ephemera pack.

I decked it with a poinsettia and holly swag from that same pack.
And that wraps it up for today.
Thank you for stopping by!

Wishing you all a very
Merry Christmas!
