City Crafter Challenge #95

The challenge at CCCB...
"Colours of the Rainbow" by Hostess Ros... is about to close. We have one more day to enter, so here goes...

Ros asks us to make our
card or project using three or more colors found in a rainbow... red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. I personally prefer muted colors and neutrals, so my rainbow is a bit cloudy. The papers here are from an 8x8 Fancy Pants pad called The Daily Grind. My daughter gave it to me, so I haven't any idea how old this collection is. It's teamed up with Prima's Romantique Collection "Ha' Penny".

I started by gluing canvas
from Canvas Corp onto an 8.5" x 4.75" piece of chipboard. I printed my Psalm 90:12 verse onto the Fancy Pants paper using my Mac. I sponged all the paper edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink then tore into them with my TH paper distresser. They were adhered atop the canvas.
I took a class at
Studio Blue Moon called "Rad Burlap"(loved it) and the instructor, Lisa, taught me how to tie knots to make a cord for hanging. I made this one with jute and attached it using my glue gun. The rose Tin Pin is from the Farmhouse Collection by October Afternoon.

The ribbon is May Arts,
the sprays from an Etsy shop and the flowers are from I Am Roses and Recollections that are sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist. The Prima Grove Vine Script Spray was misted with English Ivy and Meadow Green. The timepiece and game spinners are from Tim Holtz Ideaology.

The TH mini paper clip
holds on a Diction sticker from Authentique.
If you hurry, you
can get a project made and entered before the February 13th deadline. See you there!

Thank you for the visit!
Hugs!
Linda
