My Favourite Five Creations of 2013

Oh my...
what a time I'm having looking back at 2013. The Christmas Favourite Five was easy since there weren't as many projects to go through and I had just made them. However, searching through a whole year's worth is quite another story. These are the ones I picked as my favorites. Please click on the links to see the entire post.

Bonus projects

(Sorry, I just had to include these.)

Again, I'm linking up my
favorites over at Debby Yates blog here. Be sure to drop in for a visit.

My Favourite Five Christmas Creations

Out of all your projects
you made for the Christmas season, which are your five favorite? Too many to choose from? Since I didn't get around to making any cards (can you believe that?), I had an easy time of picking my favorite ones... starting with...

Actually there are four of these, each slightly different.

Please click on the
links to see my original posts.

I'm joining up on
Debby's blog here to take part in her Favourite Five Christmas Creations challenge. Wow... you just have to check out what is posted. I'm ready to start creating Christmas projects all over again!!!

Have a wonderful Monday!
It's snowing here again... and absolutely COLD!!!

Cutie Pie

Our newest little
granddaughter turned two months old yesterday, so in celebration I created a layout for her mom and dad.

This collection is from
Echo Park and called Bundle of Joy. It comes in both a girl and boy variety, but truthfully the girl collection has colors that can be used for both. Along with two shades of pink, are aqua, brown and a limey green. Even the layered chipboard stickers have an assortment that can go either way. I also purchased the 6 inch pad of Dots & Stripes papers that coordinate. You'll want to check this collection out if you are in need of supplies for baby related projects. Good to have on hand in your stash for that quick shower card you have to come up with at the last minute (definitely me!).

The flowers are from
Petaloo and I Am Roses teamed with punched Martha Stewart oak leaves and Spellbinder's Foliage ferns.

A vintage lace bow.
The flourish was cut with a Die-namics die from My Favorite Things.

Bundled Sage Distress
Ink on all my heavily distressed edges.

Some Golden molding
paste applied using a Prima mask.

Christmas Gift Card Holders

I know... Christmas is
past, but maybe these gift card holders can inspire you to make something similar for a birthday or Valentines Day. I made these following Arlene's (Butterfly Kisses blog) basic instructions on her video here. I used the last of my Graphic 45's Christmas Emporium music sheets paper for these plus some of their Nutcracker Sweet and whatever bits I had left from making the Christmas tags.
Have a wonderful day after Christmas! Love you guys!!!

"Away In A Manger" Christmas Tag

As far as I know, this
is my final Christmas tag of 2013. Although I can never say that with certainty, as I may need a last minute gift and have to whip up another tag.
This beautiful image is
a freebie from the wonderful Graphics Fairy as was the image of those two darling girls from my post here on Wednesday. The tag base is BoBunny's Wasabi Double Dot paper and is layered with Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium. The two die cuts are Kaisercraft Just Believe paper cut with Spellbinder's Floral Doily Motif. The ink on the edges is Vintage Photo Distress. The flowers are from Petaloo and the leaves were cut with Martha Stewart's Oak Leaf punch. The silver tinsel is an oldie by My Mind's Eye Lost & Found. The eyelet is from We R Memory Keepers.

A Variety Of Christmas Tags

Sorry this post is so
lengthy, but I wanted to get as many tags on today as possible. Only one more day till the big one, remember. I'll no doubt be posting Christmas projects long after the 25th.
This grouping is created
with several different paper collections... Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet, Christmas Emporium and A Place in Time, as well as some odds and ends from Basic Grey, Kaisercraft and Echo Park.
Have a fantastic day!
