Catching up on my baking.
Each afternoon, the Penmaker and I take a coffee break and usually discuss what we are creating.
I like to make our cookies for that occasion semi-nutritious, so I use white whole wheat flour. It has a lighter texture than regular whole wheat and I can substitute it for white flour without changing the recipe.
I whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies,
and that is the Penmaker's birthday cake cooling in the background.
Put on the coffee, Honey!
