A Perfect Day Journal

Hello blogging friends!
Are you all having a pleasant weekend? The weather here today is gorgeous... so wonderful to see the sun shining. You might say a perfect day!

Following Steff Miller's
video here on Live with Prima, I made this quick and easy journal using Prima's Romance Novel by Marion Smith. I have to confess, I've been hoarding this collection since it first came out... but no more. Now was the time to break out all these lovely papers and flowers, and with Steff to guide me... how could things go wrong.

I've used this journal
pattern before, but Marion Smith's papers made this one so much simpler to create.

Lots of journaling spots.

Isn't this paper amazing!

A fold-out page
with a tuck in journal spot.

Another fold-out page...

with a pocket on the back-side.

The back cover
with a pocket envelope...

and we're back at
the beginning again. The flowers are all Prima except for a few from Pedaloo. The other embellishments were all cut from the paper collection. The eyelet is by Memory Keepers.
The Penmaker has
been at it again. Just look at this beautiful one...

I love the variation
of color. You can see it here on the end (below) before he turned it on the lathe...

The Penmaker's latest
haul. Check out those pieces of antler.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!

Great little journal, Linda. I love Marion Smith's designs (although I hoard them rather than use them LOL) You are right that these papers work so well with the style of the journal.

I'm quite speechless. The journal is a piece of art and so are the pens, love all of it so much. Two artists under the sun :)

Have a good Sunday!
