I finally put away my Kaisercraft papers and pulled out the Pink Paislee box. When Scrapdoodles in Fredericksburg, VA went out of business last year, I bought up most their remaining stock of PP Hope Chest. I simply adore these patterns and the colors.
The focal point of my card is this framed mirror. I cut two pieces with Alterations Ornate Frame die - one from the HC paper and the other of grungeboard. I glued those together, inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink then heat embossed with Ranger's Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. I put down three applications until I got the look I wanted. I popped it up with 3-D foam adhesive.
I cut the Idea-ology Mirrored sheet with the oval from Die-namics Layered Label die set. The flying birds are doubled to give a shadowed effect - I stamped the HC paper with the text stamp from Tim's SA Nature Walk set and layered it with black card stock. They're cut with Alterations Birds in Flight Decorative Strip. I used foam 3-D tape on them as well.
The flowers are Petaloo's Botanica. The leaves are cut with Alterations Mini Leaf & Branch. I inked them with Vintage Photo DI and formed them with my tweezers for more dimension. The ivy was cut from Aterations Spring Greenery DS. It also has a coat of UT.
My colored seam binding bow is pinned with an Idea-ology Trinket Pin and a bauble from my stash.
