Birthday Wishes and Taco Night

I put together this birthday card using some odds and ends from my October Afternoon collections box. I love the bright sunny yellows that the OA folks use... perfect for a kind of bland day, which it is here in Ohio.

I actually used some burlap string in another color other than the natural I seem to gravitate toward... although I did mix this brick red with it to make a double loop bow.

The main yellow flower is a Petaloo Botanica...

all the others are from I Am Roses.

Tonight we are heading up to Wadsworth for a dinner of chicken tacos at our son's house. He's quite the cook... and seems to excel at Mexican and Italian dishes. We're hoping to get a preview of his new documentary, too, as he has a lot of the footage done. This should be a fascinating evening.

Thanks for stopping by... I so much appreciate your visits!

Love it! Those roosters caught my eye right away. I really like the bright colors too.
