So Grateful Cameo Pocket Card

This is another de-stash card made with a mix of Teresa Collins papers from one of the old Pixie Dust Paperie kits. Teresa did two beautiful pink collections called Posh and Timeless. Posh had subtle colors of pink, gray, black, and white, whereas Posh was a girly girl line with a vibrant pink. I'm not a huge pink fan, but these papers really rang my bell!

Here's the run down on my embellishments...
Prima Say It In Crystals from their Engraver line,
Prima Lyric Chipboard Pieces,
Guinea Feathers by Darice,

Pink roses by I Am Roses,
Tag cut with Alterations Tiny Tabs & Tags,
Leaves cut with Alterations Spring Greenery (inked with Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn Distress),
Leaves heat embossed with Ranger UTEE,

Prima Cartographer Say It In Crystals,
Diecuts made with Spellbinders Oval Floral, Large Classic Ovals, Scalloped Ovals,
Digi from iralamijashop on Etsy

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a beautiful Sunday!

More Glitz De-stashing with a Birthday Pocket Card

I LOVE this card! I love it not for the work, but for the product. Nearly everything in this card is vintage stash, and it's killing me to use it up. The papers are Glitz Love Nest with a bit of Echo Park Dots & Stripes and Prima Lifetime.

I again made the file folder leaves using Ranger's UTEE, but this time the Distress inks are Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron (fast becoming my favorite green). These roses are vintage, too, and I'm not sure of where I bought them.

The Petaloo burlap flower is new (a birthday gift from my granddaughter, Katie). The yellow rose buds and yellow S-10 blossom are from I Am Roses. The 3-D butterfly sticker is vintage Recollections. I bought them on close-out at Michaels in Harrisonburg, VA, the very first year we stayed at our friend's condo (so we're talking long time ago).

The colorful printed chipboard disc... with the yellow button on top... and the oval one that says FAMILY are both vintage Prima. The Wild Card is from October Afternoon. The crocheted lace is from Surplus City in MD.

I used dies by Spellbinders: Scalloped Ovals and Foliage, and Alterations: Tiny Tabs & Tags and Thinlits Doily.

I am truly a lime green lover, and this card certainly brings that fact to the forefront!

God Bless You ATC Pocket Card

Last year two of our granddaughters and I made ATC's. Trying to hold onto things does me no good, so I used my ATC as the focal point of this pocket card.

My base is Webster's Pages Yacht Club "Captain's Notes". I nearly broke down and bought more of this in Gettysburg at Forevermore Scrapbooks. They have a few sheets, and I almost gave in and picked some up. Thankfully I opted for some new papers I haven't had before. Sorry to be such a wimp about letting go of older collections. I'm addicted to paper.

A pretty Prima Ceramic tile and a Petaloo Velvet Hydrangea.

Prima Lifetime kraft paper doilies cut with the new Alterations Thinlits Doily, a Webster's Pages tiny, navy cameo, and a strip of Prima Crystal Sheet in gold.

The flowers are by I Am Roses (navy and green roses and rosebuds), Prima (large green bloom), and Petaloo (Velvet Hydrangea). The velvet leaves are Petaloo and the chipboard die-cut leaves are Bo Bunny.

A Glitz Birthday Pocket Card and Movie Pens

I haven't had a minute to create any new cards since we've returned home from our Whitehall, NY/ Gettysburg, PA trip. I do, however, have a few from two weeks ago that I haven't posted yet. This birthday card is layered with lots of older Giltz Design patterns that I love... and like most of my older stuff, comes from a Pixie Dust Paperie kit.

The Damask paper is from the Glitz Love Nest collection (sigh)... it's soooo pretty. Unfortunately for me, mine is all gone now. I like using up my old collections, but it's a kind of love/hate thing. It's so sad when I don't have them anymore.

The little girl sticker is a vintage K & Company 3-D and the pink and crystal wheat sprays are several years old as well. The flowers are an assortment of Petaloo and I Am Roses. The die cuts were made with Spellbinders Oval Floral and Alterations Stitched Ovals and Tiny Tabs & Tags. The floral die cuts are from Alterations Spring Greenery.

I cut the leaves with Spellbinders Foliage. They're made from a manilla file folder, inked with Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn, and finished with Ranger's UTEE. The edges were sponged with Walnut Stain DI. The pink organza ribbon is from Michaels and the pink nylon with pearls trim is from Hobby Lobby.

The floral mat under the sticker is a digi. I trimmed the corners with We R Memory Keepers Scallop.

Maple box

A couple of new projects The Penmaker created for our son's latest documentary. He gathers the wood at the sighting locations and stabilizes it. Then makes the pens from the stabilized wood. Every piece looks different.

A Birthday Pocket Card for Our Son-in-Law

The new Tim Holtz Dapper paper stack from Idea-ology has fast become a favorite of mine. I used these fabulous papers to make a birthday card for our son-in-law, whose birthday was last week.

To one of the TH pocket watches, I added a bit of the paper, a pick-up truck charm, Idea-ology rub-ons and chain, attaching it to the card with a TH ring fastener.

I layered on a piece of TH ephemera, an old button, and a TH mini gear.

For the front side of the tag, I glued on a wood cross and tied on a piece of my text fabric stained with Walnut Stain Distress ink.
