Remember This Birthday Card

Hello friends! Welcome!
Today I have my last of the Prima Romance Novel series. Again I made another of the masculine cards to prove how versatile this collection was. In addition to the metal timepiece and corner filigree, is a Sophisticate Cabinet Card Frame from Tim Holtz's Idea-ology line and a piece of my hand-dyed wool.

Are you looking forward to a fun weekend? I believe we have some snow headed our way. Or so they say... they've missed their predictions most of the winter, so I'm hoping they have this wrong as well.
Have a good one.

Dapper Gent Birthday Card

Hello and Happy Monday!
I hope you're all set for another week. Maybe some crafting planned in that time? There is for me!
Today's card is another using Tim Holtz Dapper papers, Idea-ology ephemera, mini paper clip, and other TH products. The focal image is an Etsy digi, and a piece of my favorite hand-dyed wool.

Memories Birthday Pocket Card

Welcome back!
The card I'm sharing today is a masculine style with two pockets. I'm trying to use up my old Romance Novel collection from Prima. This collection is great for lots of occasions, and these papers just fit the bill for this birthday card. I added in some Tim Holtz products and hand-dyed wool.

Have a wonderful week friends.

Just To Let You Know I'm Still Here

Hello friends and welcome!
Here are two birthday cards I've created. Although one of my labels says masculine cards, these both could be given to anyone... kids included.

I hope you're all doing well. Have a great week!

Brave and Handsome Birthday Card

Hello friends!
I'm late today getting this post on, so I'll make it a short one.

I'm still working on using up those 6x6 paper pads. This came from another My Mind's Eye collection along with a couple of images I had been hoarding. The canon die-cut came from the Gettysburg scrapbook shop and the Adornment Star is Tim Holtz Idea-ology.

Also in the mix is dictionary paper, tea-stained copy paper, and an Idea-ology Clippings Sticker.

Vintage Car with Gears Birthday Card

Happy Monday Crafters!
Seems like we've stepped a notch backwards as far as the weather goes. Cold, dreary, and wet here, but my craft room is bright and cheery with it's new coat of white paint. Perfect place to be on a day like this.

Still working on cards with a more masculine look. I did another using the digi images of vintage cars... this one in red. I had one little scrap of the My Mind's Eye paper left with the red stripe in it, so  it worked out just right. I've been trying to use up some of my older 6x6 paper pads to make some room in a couple of my drawers. These things seem to last forever if you're just using them for cards.

More Tim Holtz fabric on this along with some of his gears, both metal and one cut with the Thinlits die set Gearhead. I keep some of these cut in Metallic Kraft paper on my desk at all times. They're a great go to embellishment.
Have a wonderful week. Thanks for stopping by!

Make a Wish Vintage Birthday Card

Hello, welcome and Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there!
You would think I would have posted something a bit more feminine given the day, but this one was up on my list so I stuck with it.

Most of these papers are vintage scraps from my pile, along with my tea-stained copy paper and dictionary paper. This chipboard banner sticker is an oldie as well... from My Mind's Eye.

Tucked in the middle of the layers is a piece of Tim Holtz Textile Surfaces. I love adding some type of fabric to my cards to give more variety to the texture.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful Sunday and again...
Happy Mother's Day!

Vintage Football Celebrate Top Folding Card

Hey there!
It's a wonderful day in our part of the country. The windows are wide open and we're enjoying the breeze coming in and making everything smell fresh.

I have a top folding A2 masculine card up today featuring another digi vintage sports image. With it I grabbed up some more scraps from my pile and put them together with Tim Holtz Textured Surfaces corrugate and cork, and old dictionary paper. I tied on a length of natural burlap string, a scrap of torn fabric, glued on two My Mind's Eye chipped board buttons and one of their sentiment stickers. Love the look!

Thanks for stopping by and have a glorious day!

Wishing You a Fast Recovery Pocket Card

Hello there!
I want to share a get well card I created awhile ago with some Bo Bunny papers and Tim Holtz ephemera and mini gears. I cut a couple of the layers with my MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle dies. The larger gear at the bottom right is from Hobby Lobby. It's topped with a TH Hex Fastener. The boy is one of the TH Paper Dolls popped up with foam adhesive. The 78 in the right top corner is a TH Remnant Rub Gilded Accent. The sentiment was stamped with Altenew's Heartfelt Sentiments and Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. I used Metallic Kraft paper for mats. The tag is tied with hand-dyed wool.

Wishing you a great day

My Mind's Eye On This Special Day Pocket Card

Hi friends!
I have a quick post today because it's Friday!!! What better reason.

My masculine birthday pocket card is created from My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday paper for the base and some odds and ends I had left of their other older collections. I'm still trying to use up all my vintage stash. The handsome guy standing here is one of Tim Holtz Paper Dolls. I adore these things, and I see they have a new release of them out that I just have to buy.

And that's it for now!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Distinguished Gentleman Birthday Pocket Card

Good day all! So happy you stopped in!
I have a masculine birthday card... pocket variety... to show you. The base is the My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday along with a few pieces of some of their other papers that were in with my larger scraps. The rest of the mix is Tim Holtz ephemera and, of course, one of the Paper Dolls (although calling this guy a doll is pushing it!)

I love the mustache on this fellow... how cool! For a walking stick, I gave him a metal antique brass key. The material tied to the tag is hand-dyed wool. The metal corner piece is one from Momenta.

For that bottom layer I used Alterations Bigz Postage Stamp die. I stamped the sentiment with the Clearly Besotted Many Mini Messages using Jet Black Archival ink.  It's layered up with gold Metallic Kraft paper.
Hope you have a wonderful week!

Wishing You A Fast Recovery Pocket Card

Hi there! Welcome!
We have some freezing cold weather and snow going on here. Not what I was hoping for today, but there it is. I guess it's what's to be expected in March... the unexpected.

My card is a masculine one or actually for anyone who loves cars and mechanical workings. I used some of the Graphic 45 odds and ends from my stash of papers. Lots of layering and foam dimensional adhesive.

I pulled out a couple of Alterations Thinlits dies... Gearhead and Labels... to make some fancy cuts to mix in among the mats.

The hardware... screw heads and bolt... are by Prima. I think this corner piece is Momenta. Love using metal pieces when I don't use flowers. I gives that extra texture that's needed.
So glad to see you today.
