Dream

Well, I'm finally breaking into
my July Pixie Dust Paperie Kit, Midsummer Night's Dream . What gorgeous papers to be found within that brown cardboard box... what luscious embellishments and trims... YUMMMM!

Using the Girls Paperie Vintage Whimsy
Collection plus white and kraft cardstock, I made this card.

I layered Frou Frou over the kraft cardstock
and the white 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cardstock base. I cut another piece of  the kraft to 1 1/8" x 5 3/8" and layered a strip of 1/4" smaller Glitz Design Vintage Love over it. I distressed all these edges with my Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and Antique Linen Distress Ink. With Spellbinders Labels One I cut a piece of Cottage Vine and topped it with a sticker from the May Kit, La Dolce Vita , and distressed the edges with Antique Linen DI.

I added a piece of Webster's Pages lace trim
from the October Fall In Love Kit and two My Mind's Eye brads from my stash. Now for the piece de resistance... my floral bouquet. The center cream rose is from Deb Hickman , the brown roses are Recollections and the pink roses are from an Etsy store. Martha Stewart punched leaves and Maya Road heart pins.

Dream is from a K & Co 3-D sticker set
from my stash. And that's my card from Midsummer Night's Dream.
Have a lovely Saturday!

Oh wow, that is pretty, and I love that vintage image from "La Dolce Vita", it goes so well with the pink dots DP from "Midsummer Night's Dream", why didn't I think of that, such a pretty combo!

What I love about your cards is that you always come up with something original. You have your own style and it's always great to be here and have a look! And you always add a touch of elegance and romance :)
I never ever get tired of that; this is so lovely to look at!
