Communique Masculine Card

I purchased the
Graphic 45 Communique 12x12 Paper Pad from Enchanted Dreams Shop on Etsy and had to make something with this fabulous collection immediately.

My original intent was
to make a few projects for the Penmaker, seeing there are some sheets with pens and ink bottles, but when I open the pad, I saw tons of other possibilities.

I made this card to add
to my masculine stash. I can put a sentiment on later, as this will lend itself to nearly any occasion. The card base is Vanilla Weave American Crafts cardstock, that I bought at Archiver's yesterday with their buy 3 get 3 free coupon (LOVE it)! The base mat is Black Magic cardstock by Core'dinations that I embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile Texture Embossing Folder, then sanded. I use my paper distresser and Antique Linen Distress Ink on all the edges. The metal trinket is from Prima and is popped up with 3-D foam adhesive.

The brad is from the
My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday collection, the arrow was cut using Alterations Mini Jalopy & Arrow Set and the film is Ideaology Film Strip Ribbon. Lots of fun products... check them out!
I'm entering my card at:

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs!
