Hostess Kirsty's
I have a box full of
cards I made when I first started out that I don't particularly like, so this challenge provided some inspiration for me to try an upgrade on one of them. Here is my before...
and my after...
I tore off that top mat
and put it on a new card base... new size, new color... French Roast by Core'dinations. Added a mat from Tim Coffey's K & Company Fall 12x12 pad.
Two new trims
and skeleton leaves and flowers from I Am Roses misted with Lindy's Stamp Gang Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz.
A new organza bow
of Michael's ribbon topped with another misted I Am Roses flower.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs!
Linda

Wonderful re-do! LOVE both cards but the bottom on pops so pretty!! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful cards this week at CCCB :-)
terrific redo beautiful! I do this all the time take cards I don't like anymore or from a challenge know I would use and redo them feel like it's my own form of recyling....
Terrific work again Linda ... the original was lovely but you managed to even improve on that ... Thanks so much for playing along at CCCB
I think it's so fun to see how one's style evolves over time, so this challenge is totally up my alley. Have to say that I love your first card, but the re-do is stunning, too! Lots more yummy layers and detail. So love how a mix of trims can add such texture to a design!
That is lovely, I see "snow shoe" in there too, thanks for sharing it with us at CCCB!
