Love Notes A2 Valentine Card

Hi and welcome!
We're having another brutally cold day so I'm holdup in my craft room with numerous cups of coffee. It's the only way to survive, right?
My retro Valentine card is A2 size side folding. The papers are once again from Graphic 45's Mon Amour 12x12 paper pad. Beneath the sweet image from my stash, is a kraft pocket with a small tag for additional note writing that's tied with crocheted lace. The card is embellished with red and white grosgrain ribbon, red I Am Roses blooms with leaves, some vintage ivory lace, a chipboard G45 tag tied with natural burlap string, a paper doily, and a gold glittered heart.

I hope you're warm and safe wherever you are, and having a wonderful time crafting. Don't forget the coffee!
Thanks for stopping by!

With Loving Thoughts Pocket Card

Hello my dear friends!
I'm back again with a pocket card with such a sweet image. I pulled this out of my Valentine stash, but I can't for the life of me remember where I purchased this. It might have even been a freebie for all I know. One thing for sure... it's a cutie! And accented in my favorite color... blue.
I purchased these new Prima Georgia Blues papers at Scrapbook Super Station in Butler when we took the hike over there earlier in the month. Of course I didn't get enough of them, and had to repeat the journey again yesterday. I got a couple packs of the collection flowers as well.

This flower is actually a vintage Prima that's been in my stash for ages. I've always loved these and have been hoarding them. I really need to downsize my flower stash, so I'm going to have to let go of some of these treasures. I changed the center of this one from stamens to an antique bronze ring topped with a Prima Say It In Crystals. The blue blooms are from Petaloo and the hot pink rosebuds are by I Am Roses. The foliage is by 49 And Market and some cut with a Tim Holtz Thinlits die. The lace is from Hobby Lobby.

The gold heart is a Prima chipboard sticker from the collection. The four inch paper doily is from my stash.
Hope you have a grand day and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary Mon Amour Pocket Card

Hello my friends! I hope you're having a great weekend!
I've switched up my theme but not my paper collection. I'm still hanging with Graphic 45's Mon Amour. This collection is wonderful for anniversary and wedding projects as well as Valentines.

I again added in a glassine bag to give this card that extra tag for message writing. I great space to tell that special one how you feel about them.

The multi heart die-cut was done with Simon Says Stamp's Clipping Heart die and glitter paper from Hobby Lobby. For the sentiment I used MSE's stamp set Anniversary Innies & Outies, and backed it with more of the HL glitter paper.

The fabric flower is by Petaloo and the pink organza ribbon came from Joanns.
Wishing you a happy day and a fabulous weekend.

Valentine Pocket Card Forever & Always & Forever...

Hello and welcome!
I'm on a roll with Valentine cards. My head is full of ideas right now... for card making not writing this post. Have you noticed I write less and less. I've always been more of a listener instead of a talker and that translates over into my writing as well. What I really love is creating with paper.

This pocket card is full of Graphic 45 goodness. The fact that you can make numerous cards using one paper pad and they look completely different is a huge plus. Here I went for the darker side choosing the black patterns and teaming them with red. I used my vintage ivory lace, I Am Roses flowers, and red satin ribbon to compliment them. For the doily I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz Thinlits die.

I made a tiny envelope from a scrap of the paper, stamping it with "love" and adding a teeny heart I cut using white glitter paper. Ahhhh... true bliss!!!
Enjoy the day, friends!

Valentine Love Notes Pocket Card

Happy Monday friends!
It's a beautiful, crisp day in Ohio. Trying to stay warm here. I hope your temps are a bit higher than ours.

I have a Graphic 45 Valentine pocket card to show you. Lots of lace and paper doilies and hearts on this one. Isn't that the mark of a true Valentine?
I added a glassine envelope with a pocket I attached to the front. In these I tucked three little tags. Lots of writing space on this card for love notes. Pearl trims abound along with this gorgeous lace.

I topped it all off with a lovely red organza bow.
Don't you just adore Valentine cards?
My very favorite!!!
Have a terrific day and thanks for stopping by!

When I Saw You I Fell in Love Valentine Pocket Card

Hello and welcome!
It's so hard to imagine that it's time to create Valentine cards again. I remember packing the hearts and papers away like it were yesterday. Valentines are one of my top cards to make. In order to prepare, I first pulled out everything I thought I could use and arranged it all on my desk... then into bins or dishes... and ending in a shallow wood crate along with odds and ends tucked in here and there. It's so much easier to work with everything before me.

Here is one I made using Graphic 45's Mon Amour collection. With some lace and fabric scraps I created an embellishment stack. I found this on A Trace of Sparkle. This gem of a project came from Jessica Rapp and one I can see being used on a zillion creations. I'm so happy I found these talented ladies.

I stamped the locket and chain with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with Clear Ranger embossing powder. The flowers are an assortment from Prima collections.

For matts I used Bronze Matallic Kraft paper cut with Sizzix Thinlits Stitched Squares. The lace is vintage from my stash.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Prima Mix Sympathy Pocket Card

Hello! Happy Monday to you all!
I hope your neck of the woods is warmer than ours is today. Snow and freezing cold... that's the sum of it. We do have some sunshine though, so that's a positive.

I created one last Prima mix card before putting it all away and pulling out some new stock. I grabbed a Tim Holtz ephemera pack and added in a piece along with Metallic Kraft bronze paper. For the two bottom layers, I used the MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle die set.

The flowers are by both Prima and 49 and Market. The foliage is cut with Sizzix TH Thinlits Festive Greens. This is one of my favorite foliage die sets and I seem to rely on it year round. I love the soft sage greens of these flowers and the green tones in the papers. Very comforting colors.
Wishing you a warm and wonderful week... inside if not out.

Special Delivery Anniversary Pocket Card

Hello and welcome! I hope you're having a great day!
I have a Prima loaded anniversary pocket card to show you today.

With the Prima papers I used ephemera from Kaisercrafts Collectables. I die-cut a layer in kraft cardstock using Alterations Thinlits Stitched Squares and one with a piece of patterned paper using the Stitched Circles. I topped those with a die-cut using Avery Elle's Die Set Sentimental Too cut from Metallic Kraft by Idea-ology. With that I stamped the word ANNIVERSARY using the matching AE Sentimental Too Stamp Set. I surrounded it all with ivory burlap string circles.

The flowers and leaves are by Prima. Tucked underneath is a section of a vintage ecru doily. I added a few ivory pearl flourishes to finish it off.

Opps... no actually I finished it off with a white organza bow on the tag. Anyway, it's completed and I'm pleased. I hope you like it as well.

Remembering Sympathy Pocket Card

Hi friends! Happy 2019!
I'm checking back in after a brief absence with a sympathy pocket card. This one is going in our eBay shop, not being sent out to anyone, thankfully.
I dug into my Prima stash to create this card, choosing an older collection. I teamed it with some Kaisercraft ephemera from their Collectibles collection along with a bit of old ecru lace

The flower and foliage are by 49 and Market. The berry spray is from Darice. The black and white leaves were fussy cut from a scrap of Prima paper.
It was a challenge to get back in my craft room and stand at my desk after weeks of non-crafting. I'm hoping I can repeat this process and get back into the swing of card creating. It truly is one of my favorite activities.

I hope you'll have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
