Curiosity Pocket Card w/Tag

My love for pocket cards has not diminished over the last seven months. If anything, it has grown. This one is made with Kaisercraft's Curiosity collection from last year. I've purchased very few new papers lately, but have unlimited amounts of the older collections I was hoarding. This is one of those favorites I was planning on keeping forever... until I ran out of room.

The doilies were cut using Alterations Distressed Doily. The florals are flowers from Petaloo and I Am Roses teamed with die cuts from Alterations Spring Greenery Decorative Strip and the new Thinlets Holiday Greens. The wood butterflies are from Prima. I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the butterflies and on the card edges. I combined the Vintage Photo with Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss D I to color the seam binding for my bow. There's a bit of Ranger's Copper Liquid Pearls in the left corner.

Forever Family Photo Album Pages

An old photo from Christmas in 1966 is the focus of my pages.
The papers are snippets from my box of Christmas scraps... perhaps Kaisercraft. The inks are Evergreen Bough, Chipped Sapphire and Tumbled Glass Distress. The Forever die cut is from Tim Holtz new Thinlets set. I used some copper mica flakes here and there with a bit of Waterfall Stickles to sparkle things up.

Stationer's Desk Family Photo Album Re-Do

After looking at this album for months, I felt it was time
to make a couple of changes. I've always been a fan of multiple flowers on my projects and this one just wasn't up to my standards. Not a huge difference, but more to my liking. If you'd care to see the original, you can find it here.
The additional flowers and skeleton leaves are from I Am Roses.
I also added some Liquid Pearls in Pewter. I've bought several bottles of these treasures lately, mostly in metallic-type colors. Being somewhat out of practice, I'll need to work with these to get a more perfect pearl shape.
After a tragic event in our family, I believe I have a spark
of creativity back in my heart. Hopefully I can share what comes of it with you once again.

Thank you for stopping by!
It's so nice to talk to you again.
