Prima Lyric Birthday Pocket Card

Hello friends and welcome!
Going through my Prima collections I came across a couple half sheets and some scraps of Lyric. Still one of my favorites, it was thrilling to find these. I had enough to pull together this pocket card with some left to use as add-ons for another card in the future.

I filled in with lots of lace. Then I went through my flower stash and found a white Petaloo bloom. I teamed it with a couple of I Am Roses pale pink flowers matching up my wrinkled seam binding ribbon that I tied to my tag.

These vintage ladies from the Tim Holtz Paper Doll pack fit in nicely, and for some pizzaz one of the beautiful pearl and rhinestone setting embellishments from my stash of sparkling stuff.
Have a very wonderful day!

Someone Special Pocket Card

Hello folks! Welcome!
More rain... ugh! We are very near the flooding stage with the river at the edge of our woods out back.
On a positive note, I have a shabby chic pocket card to share created with Kaisercraft Pen and Ink collection papers and my tea-stained papers. It has a lot of lace, appliqués, and a beautiful pearl and rhinestone embellishment.

The gorgeous flower is by Prima from their older Christmas collection Sweet Peppermint. The leaves are BoBunny chipboard.

The envelope is made with my tea-stained copy paper and a doily. For the closure I used a vintage button and added a rhinestone setting embellishment. Inside I tucked a playing card embellished with fabric, vintage lace scraps, Tim Holtz ephemera, appliqués, tea-stained copy paper and dictionary paper.
Stay dry out there and thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Blue Thank You Card

Happy Monday friends!
Or is it? It's raining here... again. In fact the weather app on my phone says rain for the next ten days. I suppose the bright side is that it gives me more time to craft.
Today I want to share a thank you card I created with Kaisercraft papers. This is a top folding card with a 5"x5.5" white base. Just a pretty basic card with tulle, lace and pearl dangle trims, plus a couple of appliqués.

I hope your Monday goes well. Thanks for stopping by!

Prima Havana Collection Pocket Card

Hello crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing my first project with Prima's Havana. I purchased the 12x12's but nothing else in the collection. I find that there are times when the papers can stand on their own, and can serve as the embellishments if cut or torn in the right manner.

To this one I added some scraps of a sheer fabric with pearl clusters, appliqués, a gorgeous Prima flower with a rhinestone center, and a pearl and rhinestone setting. I love these colors... love the way it finished up. Love this collection.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Key with Dangle All Occasion Pocket Card

Hello friends and welcome back!
I hope you've got some crafting time reserved for this weekend. Here it's suppose to rain, so card making will be fitting into my schedule.
I have another Lovely Day Mintay collection by Karola Witczak project to share today. This is a beautiful, soft collection of papers just right for so many different occasions.

This minty green was a perfect color to mix with some of my beautiful white lace trims, tulle, and appliqués. I love the cute houses on the cut apart sheet. This is just a lovely set of patterns.

In my stash I found this key trimmed out with rhinestones and a crystal dangle. I'm pretty sure this came from the dollar bins at Michaels... several years back. My "Smile" sentiment is a Tim Holtz Metallic Sticker Quotations, and the flowers are by I Am Roses.
Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Audrey Birthday Pocket Card

Hello and welcome dear friends! How are you doing?
More rain here today so no sitting on the patio or gardening for me.
I have a pocket card to share with you that I created using a lot of the items from the Audrey Loves Coco kit I purchased from the Ooh-La-La Vintage Treasures Zibbet store. You can check out Doreen's Facebook and see some of the supplies here. Her kits are amazing... some of the best I've ever seen.

For my papers I used the Kaisercraft Pen and Ink collection. Some of the 6.5x6.5 sheets came in the kit, but I also had the 12x12 on hand. I used both. The half pearls and gold filigree are from my stash.

You may want to take a look at her next kit. There should be a new one coming soon, but they sell out quickly so be ready to buy.

Pretty Pink Home Birthday Pocket Card

Hi and welcome!
I hope you're having a beautiful day and enjoying some creative time crafting. I've been in my craft room most of the morning in between running back and forth to the laundry room. As soon as the weather warms up, it seems our laundry doubles or even triples.

I have a pocket birthday card to share with you today featuring a Mintay collection by Karola Witczak called Lovely Day.

I've added several different lace trims and this pretty pearl rhinestone embellishment. In my stash I found one lone Prima resin squirrel that I thought would fit in nicely with the cute pink house image along with some soft pinks and white I Am Roses flowers.

Not being able to stop with all that I searched through my appliqué scraps and found this lovely white flower with leaves and added it. Then I grabbed a white crocheted mini flower gluing on a small half pearl, and put it in the mix as well.
That's all for this post. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Favorite Moments Anniversary Pocket Card

Hello there!
To brighten up a dull, dreary Monday I'm sharing one of my favorite creations as of late... an anniversary card I made for our son and daughter-in-law.

As you've probably noticed I'm really big into lace and frills lately. Can't seem to get enough of them piled on my cards.
This pocket card features Prima's Georgia Blues collection, one of my tea-stained paper doilies, some gorgeous Prima flowers with gold beaded centers... and lace! For extra pizazz I added a beautiful rhinestone heart.
Hope you like it!

Loyalty Retro 40's Birthday Pocket Card

Hi there! Welcome!
For this Saturday I have another of my Authentique retro 40's pocket cards up to show you. It's a beautiful, breezy day here and I really should be outside in the sunshine, but yet here I am at the old Mac typing away.

I'm just drawn to these 40's designs... love the historical feel the images have. To enhance it, I've added blue and white flowers from Prima and I Am Roses. For more texture in the mix there's a wood US Flag.

The tag is tied with a deep blue wrinkled seam binding bow which compliments my silver Metallic Kraft die-cut, filigree corner, and Loyalty sentiment metal tag held together with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mini Fasteners.
Hurray for the red, white and blue!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

It's Friday... are you looking ahead to a great weekend? More crafting time for sure.

I have a birthday pocket card up featuring another Mintay collection by Karola Witczak along with Prima's Georgia Blues, a Prima wood mat coated with white Liquitex gesso, torn tea-stained copy paper, and old dictionary paper.

I've added several layers of lace, appliqués, an I Am Roses blossom, a garment pin with pearl and crystal dangles, a vintage Girls' Paperie navy cameo, a paper doily, and one of my stacked lace embellishments topped with a vintage button. On the tag I've tied wrinkled ecru seam binding ribbon into a double bow. This card is pretty much loaded!

Altered Shabby Bottle

Hello again friends!
My project for today is something different. Our daughter showed us a bottle she bought at a garage sale and I immediately pictured it altered in lace and flowers. So I asked if I could decorate it for her. This is my result.

There are layers of fabric, laces, and Prima Georgia Blues papers... vintage doilies and lace, a garment pin with pearl dangles, I Am Roses flowers, appliqués, and a pearl/rhinestone embellishment to top it all off.
Just a little something out of the ordinary for me.
Thanks for stopping by!

To The Happy Couple Pocket Card

Hello and welcome!
The week is moving ahead and today I want to show you a card I created using the Mintay 7th Heaven collection by Karola Witczak.

I've used several layers some cut with MFT's Stitched Rectangles. I started this stack with a paper doily and lace trim... my go to items. I added a gorgeous pink glittery Prima rose with a gold beaded center and a small die-cut gold glitter heart. For my sentiment, I stamped "To the happy couple" from the MSE Anniversary Innies & Outies set. It's based on a scrap of gold glitter corrugate from Hobby Lobby.

I hope your day is going well and you have a great week.

Become a Nurse All Occasion Retro 40's Pocket Card

Greetings friends!
For a day that started out sunny and gorgeous, this Sunday has taken a downward turn. Inside it's warm and snug though, especially with our new flooring. It's been a looooong time coming, but we've finally committed to having something new underfoot. We're loving it too.

I have another Authentique retro 40's card up for you to check out. This one has some vintage crocheted ecru lace and old fabric scraps, a wood US flag, a couple bits of Tim Holtz ephemera, and some I Am Roses flowers and leaves.

I added in a scrap of old dictionary paper as well. I like to try matching a word or two to the theme of the card. Care and career were a perfect fit for my nurse image.
Have a wonderful finish to your weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Lest We Forget Top Folding Card

Hello and welcome friends!
I've been using up the few papers I have left of Authentique's patriotic collections. Hopefully they will release some new ones in the future. These I purchased over in Gettysburg awhile back.

I like doing A2 cards for a simpler design and especially the top folding style. Just a few embellishments go a long way on these. For this card I added on a copper filigree corner piece and a metal copper sentiment "Remember".

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
