Dream Princess Pocket Card

Hello and welcome friends!
My third Graphic 45 Princess pocket card is up today for your inspection. Again lots of lace and paper doilies, but with some additions. I created the larger flower using left over pieces of Prima flower petals with a pearl for the center

Along with these fussy-cut pieces are some hand-dyed pink cheesecloth. This came with the gorgeous Audrey Loves Coco kit I bought from Doreen at Ooh-la-la Vintage Treasures. You can see some of her past kits here. The gold glittered corrugate is from Hobby Lobby. Also tucked in there is a vintage button tied with ivory burlap string.

The Dream sentiment sticker is by My Mind's Eye Record It. It's popped up with 3-D foam adhesive. Underneath that layer is some of my vintage sheet music.

The tiny crocheted flower with the pearl center is from I Am Roses, and the layer beneath that is a glassine bag with a cut-apart note card from the collection. To the right of that is some digital ephemera.

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Pretty Princess Pocket Card

Hello there friends!
As promised, another Graphic 45 Princess card. This one is a top loading pocket. I've added layers of tea-stained paper doilies, vintage sheet music, Hobby Lobby glitter paper, vintage lace, and lovely I Am Roses flowers.

This second layer was cut with the MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangles. The close-up is of my handmade lace embellishment made with chipboard, vintage sheet music and lace scraps and an appliqué. Making these is addictive... great to do while watching a Hallmark movie.
For sparkle, I added Studio Katia Crystal Clear Confetti here and there.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Once Upon A Time Pocket Card

Hi friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
I have a lacy, girly pocket card for you today made with Graphic 45's Princess. I only purchased a few of these papers from the collection and none of the extras. I was extremely happy with the number of card bases and tags I was able to create and still have enough paper for mats and focal images. I'll post the others I've made soon.

I'm thinking this one would suit any of our granddaughters. They love all things pink, frilly, and feminine.

As you can see, lots of lace,  tea-stained paper doilies, and lovely glittered flowers and paper.
Please stop by again to see more from this collection.
Have I great Sunday and thanks for the visit!

Thinking of You Pocket Card

Hello friends and welcome!
Today I have a thinking of you pocket card featuring Prima's Georgia Blues collections.

I did some stenciling here using Tim Holtz Lace Layering Stencil, his Ranger Grit Paste, and Twinklits Diamond Dust. The white flower is one of my homemade coffee filter ones topped with a vintage Prima one. The others are Prima as well. I have a four inch paper doily tucked underneath. The ephemera butterfly and chipboard piece are part of the GB collection.

I have lots of lace on here... both vintage and new (mostly from Joann), a homemade coffee filter mini envelope with tiny flower appliqué, and a crocheted mini flower with a pearl center. The tag is tied with white sari silk and I used some for the bow under my flower, too.
Have a wonderful day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations Pocket Card

Hello and welcome!
I'm excited to show you this pocket card I created that could be used as a wedding or anniversary card. There's that variety I was talking about in my last post. I guess the Penmaker is right... isn't he always! 💕

I pulled together some of the lighter, plainer patterns from the Prima Georgia Blues collection for the base, mats and tag. For the focal point image I cut a section from one of the more decorative sheets with the foiling. Sigh... I love this collection.
For frills I used a paper doily, a piece of vintage Prima gray satin trim, some vintage gray embroidered trim, and some new Joann's white lace with pearls. I added on one of my homemade lace embellishments trimmed up with a pin and pearl dangle.

The bow on my tag is white sari silk purchased on Ebay. The flower is handmade from parts of a vintage Prima flower, lace, and a pearl. The other flowers are new Prima stock. The chipboard butterfly sticker is from the GB collection. The glitter paper came from Hobby Lobby.

Thanks so much for stopping and I have a great week!

Smile Pocket Card

Happy Saturday to you!
I've a new pocket card to show you featuring Prima's Lavender Frost and a beautiful bird image from Mintay's Dear Diary collection by Karola Witczak. I've been creating top loading pocket cards for something different. The Penmaker says I'm big on variety, and I suppose I somewhat am. Although I seem it stick with pocket cards and only make a few traditional folding ones.
This card is full of gorgeous laces and ribbons, a mini natural twig heart, and little appliqués trimmed out with half pearls. There is also a layer that's a wood ATC card by Prima that I painted with Liquitex white gesso. The flowers I choose are by Prima, and I stuck a couple of Maya Road green leaf stick pins in that top one.

This is a closer look at one of my homemade lace embellishments, the base being a die-cut of old sheet music and thin chipboard. Along side is a vintage button tied with ivory burlap string and a sentiment sticker by My Mind's Eye Record It. It's matted with bronze Metallic Kraft paper by Tim Holtz. I inked all the paper edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Frilly Thank You Pocket Card

Hello and welcome!
I have a thank you card up today with lots of frills and shabby chicness. This card features the Prima Lavender Frost collection with some Prima flower packaging as well.

In this mix of flowers and lace is one of my homemade lace embellishments and a Prima LF bird chippie. The flowers are by Prima and I Am Roses. My tag bow is hand-dyed wrinkled seam binding.

Tucked underneath is a beaded embroidered flower I took from a scrap of wedding lace, and that middle doily was cut with a Tim Holtz doily Thinlit die. The gold metallic kraft paper was cut and crafted with Tim's 3-D Laurel Impresslit Folder. The sentiment was stamped with Lawn Fawn's Scripty Sayings.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Cherished All Occasion Pocket Card

Hello friends!
We're having another cold spell here, but the Penmaker has kept our fireplace burning brightly. I've been working beside it in my chair making more card embellishments.  I haven't been able to make anything new lately, but I still need to keep creating.
This is an all occasion card I did a few weeks back and didn't get around to posting it. As per my normal lately it's quite frilly, lacy and a bit shabby. The papers are Prima's Lavender Frost. 💕

For this grouping I used one of my homemade lace embellishments, an I Am Roses pink rose, white pearl stamens, and Maya Road pearl heart stick pins. The letter is a Prima chipboard sticker.

For trims... white tulle and white ruffled ribbon by Pink Paislee. The Cherished sentiment is a My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Record It sticker popped up with 3-D adhesive foam.

I hope you all have a marvelous day.
