Sending You Warm Hugs Pocket Card

Happy Monday, friends!
I'm switching back to pocket cards today. I created this all occasion card featuring a digi image that I adore. These little ladies are so sweet, and remind me of my granddaughters. The papers are from a couple of older Prima collections... oldies but still goodies in my mind.

I used my Sizzix Vintage Doily die set for the paper doilies and cut some pieces from a Battenburg cotton ecru doily to tuck in as well.

The ecru lace trim is from my stash that probably came from the Surplus City store in Cumberland, Maryland. The rhinestone gems are by TPC Studio... vintage. The lovely little flowers are a newer collection from Prima. For my sentiment I again pulled out the Altenew Heartfelt Sentiments clear stamp set.

Hope you have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!

Kaiser Rose Ave Birthday Card

Hello again Friends!
I'm happy you dropped in because I have another card from the Kaiser Rose Avenue card kit to show you. For this one I used the pre-folded card base that came in the kit, but I did quite a few modifications to the Scrapbook Super Station design.

Like adding an additional layer to the Kaisercraft die-cut... a piece of Hobby Lobby gold glittered corrugate cut with an Alterations Thinlits Labels die.

I popped up a Tim Holtz Paper Doll and a small piece of the blue cardstock from the kit stamped with an Altenew Heartfelt Sentiments, adding them to the left corner. That embossing powder is WOW! Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter.

The gold sequin and gem embellishment is an old one from my stash by Prima.

I love the way this turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Trying Out a New Card Kit

Hello there and welcome!
I'm excited to show you a card I made from a new kit I purchased from one of the best scrapbooks stores you'd ever come across... Scrapbook Super Station. The Penmaker and I love visiting this shop in Butler, PA, and on our recent trip there, I bought one of their kits to try out. It's a Kaisercraft featured kit called Rose Ave. When I checked their website just now, I saw that they have lots of others that look fabulous as well.

I modified my first card slightly. Always like putting my own touch to what I make, but it's basically their design. As I went though the supplies, I can see I'll have lots of materials left over that I can use to create many more cards of my own.

I'll be showing you more of what I'm making from this kit over the next few posts.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Forever Grateful Pocket Card

Hi there and welcome!
It's an extremely gloomy Monday here, but it's cosy in my craft room so let the creativity begin!

My Forever Grateful card is made with lots of Tim Holtz product. To mat his Idea-ology Found Relative card I used a piece of the Idea-ology Metallic Kraft paper and embossed it with the Sizzix Botanical 3D Texture Fade Folder. I cut the window with my Alterations Thinlits Stitched Ovals.

For the florals I used Prima flowers from the Love Story collection... Princesse is this main bloom... and some pretty clear acrylic delphinium flower beaded sprays.

My sentiment is from the Altenew Heartfelt Sentiments clear stamp set.

Have a fantastic week friends, and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday in French Country

Hello again!
So sorry for not showing up here for so long. I hope you're all well and happy and looking forward to a nice weekend!
I have a birthday pocket card up today created with Graphic 45's French Country. I seem to have an abundance of this collection in my stash. I must have had extra cash when I purchased this one.

This, of course, is one of G45's older collections, and I well remember their sneak peeks and how much I looked forward to it's release. I think I had fallen in love with the blues and this is what I used here. The flowers are by Prima and I Am Roses. The blue half pearls are by Kaisercraft. This card is basically my standard layered pocket card plus lots of beautiful printed chipboard and cardstock die-cuts. I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

Using My Stash Featuring Pink Paislee

Hi Friends... Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend. Our weather here is fabulous and for enjoyment I did a lot of reading and relaxing on the patio.
Due to my health problems, I've decided to quit selling my cards in our eBay shop. This is one I had recently made and sold. The base is from Pink Paislee's Hope Chest. This collection is a great favorite of mine and thankfully I have some stashed away. The other papers are by Prima... older ones as well.

The flowers and leaves for this card are all from I Am Roses. The blue pearl trim and lace are also from my stash of older treasures. I love when I can add some of these much prized elements to a project.

For the dies I used Spellbinder's Fleur De Lis Squares and Alterations Thinlits Stitched Squares. My sentiment is from Altenew's Heartfelt Sentiments clear stamp set. The antiqued metal corner's are older discontinued pieces from Momenta.

Sending you wishes for a wonderful week and
thanks for stopping by!
