Forever Anniversary/Wedding Pocket Card

Hello friends and welcome on this wonderful weekend!
I have an anniversary/wedding pocket card up today in the shabby chic style I'm loving to create right now.

This one is loaded with laces and trims and appliqués not to mention tea stained papers. The cute bird die-cut and the one that says Moments are part of the Kaisercraft Collectables Anthology pack.

I've sprinkled I Am Roses white blooms and pearl stamens here and there along with pretty half pearls. On this heart lace trim I've attached a silver garment pin holding some dangle beads.

My handmade tiny envelope holds an equally tiny silver glitter heart.
Have a fabulous weekend to all... and thanks for stopping by!

Wallhouse Birthday Wishes Pocket Card

Hello there friends!
Today I have a scrap pocket card to show you. Every now and then I try to thin down this pile of scrap paper pieces I accumulate on my desk by making a card with them. Of course they won't work for the base. So for that I used a sheet from my ever dwindling hoard of 7 Dots Studio Nature Walk. One of my all time favorite collections by DeeDee Catron.

My layers include Tim Holtz Idea-ology Textured Surfaces... some sections of each cork, burlap and corrugate... and ephemera. I used a flair button, a tea-stained tag, a Prima chipboard tag, a small tea-stained stamped tag, a stamped fussy-cut leaf, and a torn piece of fabric, as well as some other assorted scraps. This all looked like it needed some metal, so I added Prima screwheads and a small Hobby Lobby timepiece.

To the TH Stampers Anonymous Nature Walk stamped leaf I attached a TH Idea-ology Star Fastener. To finish off my insert tag, I tied on a scrap of hand-dyed wool in a gorgeous rich burgundy color.

My focal point image was a coffee sleeve from our favorite coffee shop in Sugarcreek. I cut this section off and glued it to that scrap tag adorned with a TH Idea-ology Mini Paper Clip. For distressing I sponged on Vintage Photo ink.
Funny, this pile hasn't gotten any smaller!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Life Itself Is The Most Wonderful Fairy Tale Of All Pocket Card

Hello and welcome!
My Graphic 45 Princess pocket card for today has a different look from the others so far. I went with the gold toned patterned papers in the collection for the base, mats, and tag.

The focal point cut-apart features a Han Christian Anderson quote "Life itself is the Most Wonderful Fairy Tale". I backed it with some corrugate. I added Swarovski crystals to the crown, and beside it a tiny My Minds Eye chipboard banner topped with an ivory burlap string bow and a lace flower with a rhinestone. Some bottom layers include lots of laces, an ecru crocheted doily section with a garment pin and crystals, and tea-stained paper doilies.

The flowers are from I Am Roses. My handmade tea-stained doily envelope is lined with tea-stained copy paper. It's trimmed with vintage lace and a MME chipboard bee button tied with burlap string. It's resting on a bed of cheesecloth.

Inside I tucked a small Princess image from the collection. It would be a great place to add a secret note.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
