Hello there and I hope your having a fantastic Thursday!
Todays card is a mixture of Prima Printery and Love story collections. I'm not kidding, I have enough of Printery and Engraver to last forever. They are two of the collections I truly stocked up on... but I love them!!!! They're so neutral, and go with just about anything.
The sentiment was stamped with Altenew's Heartfelt Sentiments set in VersaMark ink and heat set with WOW! Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder. I used several layers of paper and gold glitter paper cut with Alterations Stitched Circles for this stack with the printed chipboard from the Cartographer collection.
It's popped up with 3-D foam adhesive.
The flowers are all by Prima and the leaves are Recollections. The bow is made from ivory burlap string.
And that's it for with card!
Today I have an A2 top folding card to show you that I created for our daughter-in-law's birthday. For the base I used Simon Says Stamp's 100# Cotton Candy card stock. This is one of my favorites from them... probably because there are so many girls in our family.
I went with Prima's Love Story for the patterned papers, both 12x12 sheets and the 6x6 paper pad. For mats I pulled out some white card stock by Recollections... my go to because of price. Whenever Michaels has a sale on this stuff be sure to grab it.
For dies, I used a couple from the MFT's Stitched Rectangle set. Gold glitter paper is from Hobby Lobby, pearl trim from Pat Catans, and the bloom is by Prima. My sentiment is from Scrappy Cats Happy Birthday stamp set and is heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum. The pink half pearls are by Hero Arts.
Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all of you Moms out there!
This is my first year without my dear, sweet Mom and believe me there is an ache in my heart. This is also my first year to not make a card for her for Mother's Day, but thankfully one of my darling granddaughters, Dixie, and I created one for together for her Mom. I, unfortunately, forgot to have the Penmaker photograph it, so I'll show you This Beautiful Life pocket card instead.
This one's a mix of Prima Meadow Lark and Authentique's Dame 6x6 paper pad. For the Hugs & Prayers sentiment, I used Altenew's Heartfelt Sentiments set.
The bottom layers were cut with MFT's Stitched Rectangles. I cut a doily with Sizzix Vintage Doily, and used two of the cut-aparts from the Dame paper pad which I popped up with Scotch foam adhesive. They have a bit of Hobby Lobby glitter paper as their mats.
The flowers are from Prima's newest collections. The gems and resin flowers are an older Prima Say It With Crystals.
Have a fabulous Sunday and thanks for stopping by!
I have another oldie but goodie for today... Prima Meadow Lark. I'm not sure if all these papers are from that collection, as some weren't full sheets. They were in my Prima box, so I know that they are all from one of their collections. The chipboards are too!
The flowers are as well. These are new though... from the Lavender collection. The leaves are by Recollections from Michaels. The Thinking of You stamp is from Simon Says Stamp's Beautiful Day set. I used Darice Ink It Up! Khaki Green. For dies, I pulled out Alterations Thinlits Stitched Circles and MFT's Stitched Rectangles.
I have a lovely, soft green Thinking of You card to show you today. Lots of Prima here with just a touch of some Jodi Lee Butterfly Garden paper I printed from a download I bought from her ages ago. This is still one of my favorite older collections, and I'm happy in the fact I can print some more whenever I run low.
The flowers are by Prima. I cut the leaves using Spellbinder's Foliage die set. I added in some natural burlap string.
My image is a freebie from The Funkie Junkie Boutique as are the white flourishes. My wood hummingbird is from my stash of laser-cut wood from Tennessee.
It a beauty of a day here in Ohio, and although you probably hear a lot of jokes about our state, we love it! We don't have mountains, but I can look out my back windows and see gorgeous, rolling hills, and woods, and a river across the field with the remains of the old canal alongside of it. Perfection!
My "dear friend" card is created with more of my older Prima papers and some from the 6.5" Kaisercraft Vintage Timeless paper pad. I love the gray and pink together... so pretty. Colors that are just made for each other. I have some of my older embellishments worked in here too... a Prima medallion from one of their trims, some half pearl trim, and a silver, rose charm. The "girls" photo is one of Tim Holtz Found Relatives that I ran through my Vagabond with an MFT Stitched Rectangle die. I backed it with another larger die-cut and a piece of silver glitter paper from Hobby Lobby.
The"dear friends" stamp is from the Altenew Thinking of You set, and stamped in Archival Jet Black ink from Ranger. The gorgeous, frosty rose and two gray blooms are by Prima.
Wishing you a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!
Hello! I hope you're doing well on this wonderful Friday!
The weather here is gorgeous and the Penmaker and I spent the morning relaxing in the back yard with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, Tommy. What a delightful time!
It's back to work, now, and he's out mowing, and I'm heading to my craft room as soon as I'm finished with this post.
My Serenity card is another of my combo ones. This one is a mix of two Prima collections and some Bazzill cardstocks, plain and dotted. The flowers are Prima's and I Am Roses. The Serenity sentiment is from Artistic Outpost's Serenity stamp set. I used Ranger Archival Jet Black ink on ivory cardstock from Recollections, and cut it out with MFT's Stitched Rectangles. The lace is from Hobby Lobby. The copper filigree corner and bird are from The Funkie Junkie Boutique.
I have another project to show made with the lovely Lavender collection by Prima. This card is teamed up with papers from their Meadow Lark collection that came out in 2012, I believe. Love these two collections together!!!
This gorgeous violet beaded heart is from Prima's Amore collection. I have just one more of these beauties left.
My florals are a combination of Prima and I Am Roses. I used my MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangles to cut these mats, and the sentiment stamp came from the MSE Anniversary Innies & Outies set.
For more pizzaz, I scattered around some Pretty Pink Posh Clear Confetti.
Hope you're having a great day. The weather is wonderful!!! Can't wait to get outside.
