Friends Frilly and Lacy Pocket Card

Hello friends and welcome!
I'm very excited to show this all occasion card today. As I've said before, I'm on a quest for frilly and lacy. This one has that plus... vintage, antique, and sort of shabby. These colors just melt my heart... gorgeous neutrals... cream, ivory, white, and a touch of kraft... coffee stain... yum!

I added a couple of handmade trimmings... this button embellishment with lace and old music paper is one. This idea came from the lovely Jenifer on YouTube at A Trace of Sparkle

The second also came from Jenifer... the envelope tucked into my lace lined pocket. Along with the envelope are a few other pieces of ephemera including some from Tim Holtz. The flower is by Petaloo.

I made my envelope from a recycled coffee filter. Already coffee stained. I only had to dry it out and clean off the grounds. We use the unbleached type so they already have that lovely Kraft color. I lined it with more of the vintage music paper and edged it with an ivory lace trim. I cut two journaling cards and tucked them inside.
So happy you stopped by. Have a great day!

Lacy, Frilly Mixed Media Pocket Card

Hello sweet friends!
I'm on a quest for lacy, frilly, and flowery card making. I've a hankering for mixed media as well. Combined they make one lovely, kinda shabby chic project. I'm in love!

These papers are Prima's Georgia Blues and Mintay's 7th Heaven by Karola Witczak. So gorgeous together. As you can see... lots of lace, glitter hearts, beautiful I Am Roses flowers, a resin frame, a Prima GBs chipboard sticker, a Prima white glittered bird, and a Joanne's white organza ribbon bow. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz Metallic Sticker Quotation backed with Hobby Lobby silver glitter paper.

For the glittery elements I used Tim's Ranger Distressed Grit-Paste with a Prima #564230 stencil and topped it with a sprinkling of Twinklits Diamond Dust glass glitter. It made my heart happy.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a fantastic day!

Lavender Frost Anniversary Pocket Card

Hello and welcome on this beautiful Saturday in Ohio!
I'm working in my craft room today on a huge stack of Valentine cards for our family, but I have an anniversary card instead to show you. I did this one a couple weeks ago and it must have slipped by me in my line-up. It's created with two Prima collections... the main one being one of their newer ones... Lavender Frost.

The frame is triple layered... two of white and the third of a light pink cardstock. I used Tim Holtz Ornate Frame 2 Bigz die for this, glueing the layers together with Ranger's Distress College Medium and applying them with 3-D foam adhesive. The wood stove image came from a cut apart sheet of Karola Witczak's collection Dear Diary of Polish papers. A lovely match for Lavender Frost.

I added some vintage ecru lace and a snippet of pink nylon trim wrapped with tiny pearls. The flowers are by Prima. My sentiment is layered with glitter paper from Hobby Lobby. To finish it off, I trimmed out the tag with pink organza ribbon from Joanns and a white glitter heart with a row of half pearls in the right top corner.
I hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
