Tramp, Tramp, Tramp... The Boys Are Marching

There's an old song that was
sung during our American Civil War called Tramp, Tramp, Tramp... The Boys Are Marching. It came to my mind this morning when I took a look at my Grandson's birthday card I had made for him last night. Today's the "Big Party".

He is still really excited about
all things CW, so I did this card from those great papers I bought at Forevermore Scrapbooks in Gettysburg, PA.

I used my Crop-A-Dile to fasten
these large brown eyelets and threaded them with crinkled ivory seam binding that I distressed with Vintage Photo. Also inked all the paper edges. Added a Bo Bunny Timepiece Metal Trinket and a Tim Holtz Clear Charm Fragment I made with a paper scrap and Glossy Accents.

I put a T H Memo Pin holding
a stamped Happy Birthday to the inside. Hope the birthday boy likes it.
Have an enjoyable Saturday!

oh wow!!! that is VERY cool indeed, missus!!! i ♥LOVE♥ that your cards often have multiple design surfaces and are as cool INSIDE as out! very inspiring to lazy girls like me!!! :) :) :)

ps: i am not particularly a CW enthusiast, but having visited a local museum for something else entirely last week i stumbled on an exhibit of william trego's paintings! REALLY interesting and unbelievably realistic! you can kind of SMELL the gunpowder!!! (here's a link if you're interested: http://www.michenermuseum.org/exhibits/trego.php ) ♥
