When you're creating
a project, do you like to experiment with different combinations of paper collections? I love to see which company will match with which other. Well, I think I found a winning combo with 7 Gypsies Conservatory and Glitz Vintage Blue.
I have a lot of
layers on this card starting with ivory cardstock. I cut a piece of Canvas Corp Flute with the Alterations Vintage Cabinet die... sprayed it with Creme Brulee Cream Starburst then inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Peeking out from underneath is an Alterations Vintage Doily and lace from my stash. The jewels are Prima's Say It In Crystals.
The ticket was cut
with Alterations Mini Tickets Set and on top of it is a Spellbinder's Large Classic Scalloped Circle and a Glitz Vintage Blue Whatnot. The feather is from a mixed pack I purchased at Hobby Lobby. The rose is from I Am Roses and was sprayed with the Creme Brulee. I used a lot of 3-D foam adhesive.
The dove was cut with
Sizzix Bird #5 die and was sponged with Vintage Photo DI... as was nearly every edge of paper making up this card. Love those Distress Inks!!!
Hope you all have
a wonderful Friday and a fantastic weekend. Temperatures are rising here again... looks like it will be beautiful. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs!
Linda
