Hey, friends...
yes , I finally made it back to my computer. After a successful family garage sale, the Penmaker and I have gotten things back in order and I'm ready to blog once more. We had an extremely enjoyable time with the grandchildren (all six of them), our daughters, their husbands and my sister. There's nothing like family!!!
Last night I was able
to get a little time to put together a card using Prima's Printery collection. Then, alas, the batteries in my camera were dead... figures, since I haven't used it for over a week... right?
I've never done a lot
with chipboard die-cuts, but this year I've been buying complete collections and loving all the bits and bobs that Prima, October Afternoon, etc have been bringing out.
I especially am fond
of this set of Printery Chipboard Stickers. I layered these pieces with Spellbinders Labels Seventeen. Added a crinkled seam binding bow in pale yellow and a stick pin from my stash.
The borders were cut
with Martha Stewarts Traditional Scallop punch and MFT Die-namics Jumbo Scallop die. The buttons are from my stash.
I hope you are
doing well... am looking forward to a visit to see what you've all been up to!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs!
Linda

This is one beautiful card ... love those papers too ... glad your sale went well and you enjoyed family time
You and I have similar taste, Linda. I'd be drawn to all these bits and pieces from Prima, too. :) THey go so well together. You're wise to buy up stuff from the collections. It just makes making a card that much easier!
This is really pretty Linda. :-) Gorgeous paper and you've certainly figured out just how to use those great chipboard pieces. Nice to have you back in bloggie land. Hugs!
