Hope Chest Mixed Media Pocket Card w/Tag and A Nautical Pen

Still working with Pink Paislee's Hope Chest collection of papers and die-cuts.

My first layer was a coat of clear gesso then some Golden light molding paste applied through a SA Speckles stencil. On top I dabbed on a bit of Lindy's Starburst in Maidenhair Fern Green and Tibetan Poppy Teal.

Next are several die-cuts layered with a two layered piece cut from Alterations Frameworks - Courtyard.

The Courtyard piece is grunge board and patterned paper colored with the same two Lindy's Starbursts. The edges are inked with Vintage Photo Distress. I wish more of it was exposed, but you never know when you're layering what will show in the end... right?

The flowers are Petaloo Botanica. The leaves were cut with Alterations Mini Leaf & Branch set and coated with UTEE. I cut the heart from Alterations Thinlits Scribbles & Splat. It has a double layer of black card stock and UTEE coated patterned paper and is popped up with 3-D foam.

I added a couple of my Gatlinburg, TN wooden keys and a Prima Vintage Trinket (which truly is vintage, LOL... had it for ages).

Now a new pen from the Penmaker...

A Nautical Antique Pewter Twist Pen with designer acrylic.

Thank you for stopping by!

Oh, Linda! That is gorgeous! The seafoam greens and blues are so stunning, and I love them mixed with the neutral papers. The layered flowers and die cuts are fabulous. LOVE the scribble heart die cut on here, and the frameworks die, too! Wow!
And LOVE that nautical pen design! The penmaker has found such super cool and unique findings for his pens!
