With a big family comes a lot of creative time making cards... anniversary, thank you, get well, and... birthday... tons of birthday! October is an easy month in that last category... only two. This one I made for our son-in-law Matthew. Can you guess what he drives?
I did a pocket card for him using my Fall stash of papers from Carta Bella and Echo Park, inked manilla file folder leaves, real acorns, and natural burlap string. The filigree corner and metal heart clip are from The Funkie Junkie Boutique.
The pickup stamp is from the Artistic Outpost Home set. I used Ranger's Archival ink in Red Geranium and sponged the edges with Vintage Photo Distress.
The last several weeks have been extremely busy ones. I have really been pushed to do any kind creating which is why I haven't been posting much. I really appreciate whose of you who have stuck with me in visiting my blog. Thank you so very much... your visits are very welcomed and inspiring.
Thanks for stopping by!

It's gorgeous and I love that your used real acorns!
LOVE the fall look to this one, Linda, and love your masculine design! That old pickup truck looks awesome, and I seriously adore your cluster of fall leaves. Great combo of colors and papers, too. I think my favorite part has got to be the real acorns you added. That rocks!
