Washi Tag

When I read about the
challenge hostess Kirsty came up with this week at City Crafters, I just knew I had to drop my paint brush and gesso, and get in on this instead. Pull out your washi tape and tags, girls, and create a Washi Tag!

I recently bought some
black #8 tags, so I started with one of those, and my new Prima Engraver washi tape.

This morning I had
downloaded three freebie tags from Prima's Facebook page. I cut out one of those and added it to the mix along with the Prima Engraver collection. I kid you not... I have nearly every product in this collection... just a couple more items I need to find. I LOVE THIS COLLECTION!!!

This pretty wood berry
piece is from KaiserCraft. When I received it in the mail, it was broken, so I just cut it up even more and used the smaller sections.

Be sure to check out
the Design Teams projects... some pretty stuff!!! And you must see their Guest Designer Wendy's blog... WOW!

Now... The Penmaker presents...

When he was
buying acrylic blanks last week, I asked him to get this one... French Country right?

He's doing styluses
now. He made one for me a few weeks back, and I can't do without it for my Kindle. Mine is blue to match my case.

Watch for a Giveaway soon!
The Penmaker and I are working on something special.

Melissa's Spring Giveaway And Captain America At Gettysburg

Just a reminder to you
to hop over to Melissa's blog "Creating From The Heart" and see her fantastic Spring Giveaway.

Our son, Ethan's birthday
is next week, but we'll be in Virginia. So I wrapped his gifts early and made him a special card...

I know... it's a bit
different, but I like to personalize my cards and this is what he likes... comics and military!

These papers came from
that terrific shop... Forevermore Scrapbooks... in Gettysburg, PA. I hope we can stop by there on our way back home (if we make a slight detour of a few hundred miles). They have tons and tons of papers... a card makers dream store!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs!

A Pixie Giveaway

Pixie Dust Paperie is having another of their awesome giveaways. This gorgeous October Kit
could be yours for just becoming a follower and for giving them a shout out. Now really... the Pixies post such beautiful projects you're probably following them everyday like I do anyway. So let's all just inform everyone else what a great place to visit and shop.

I made this card for my future daughter-in-law's shower. Used the cardstock and lacy die-cut

I embossed the dark pink cardstock in my Cuttlebug with the Textile Texture Embossing
Folder from Provo Craft. Cut the heart patterned vellum paper with a Nestablities Labels One die.

The dress is a  Jolee's Boutique dimensional sticker and roses are from Prima.
The bow is white seam binding ribbon.

I cut apart the shower invitation into border strips and scalloped them with Darice scissors.
Also cut the cake from the invitation.

Added clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles to the die-cut for some shimmer.

And "Here Comes the Bride"!

P S... be sure to check out the March Kit preview at Pixie Dust Paperie.
