Kit Cards

Ahhh... back from our trip and welcomed with more snow.

The field at the edge of our property has now become part of the river... it's beautiful though, isn't it!

Made two cards using my Pixie Dust Paperie kits. 

This one is from the Springtime Pixie Kit. LOVE these Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime papers.

 I painted the chipboard frame with Ranger's Snow Cap Dabber paint and sprinkled it 

with Twinklets Diamond Dust. Pixie seam binding ribbon bow embellished with a Girls Paperie Vintage Button at the top corner...

and some American Crafts trim and Ranger's Cotton Candy Stickles at the bottom.

The supplies to make this card came from the new Floribunda Kit. I fussy-cut the roses from 

the Pink Paislee Picture Perfect paper. American Crafts cardstock and Glitz Stripe form the background. The border is Pink Paislee Sweetest Day cut with Martha Stewart's Doily Lace Edge Punch.

  A Tim Holtz ornate plate with two baubles frame my sentiment.

I added a Recollections mini rose to my Pixie Baby's Breath seam binding ribbon bow.

Some of the beautiful yellow glitter finished out my first Floribunda card.

Another For Spring

This was another of my weekend cards made from my PDP Kits. I used Prima's Sonnet and Sunny Meadow (cut with a scalloped circle Nestabilities Die and inked with Ranger's Vintage Photo Distress Ink) patterned papers and a German Lithograph Die Cut. 

Recollections pink mini roses along side a ruffled pom pom handmade paper flower in pink 

atop a bow of edged narrow varigated pink seam binding.

Workin' On Spring

Just can't get spring off of my mind, so all the cards I've done this weekend are for... spring!

I've used my four Pixie Dust Paperie Kits for all of them, just adding a few other elements to each... a Creative Scraps bird nest or a German Die Cut Lithograph Paper Scrap.
 

American Crafts Dark Pink and Brown cardstock with a Prima notecard form the base of this card.

Butterflies are cut from American Crafts Delightful Robin Diecut paper and sugared 

with Ranger's clear Rock Candy Stickles. Trims are from American Crafts and Webster's Pages.

Again... beautiful rich cardstock from American Crafts in Pastel Yellow, Pastel Green and 

Olive Green along with AM Lake View Court patterned paper make up this Bunny theme card.

A Recollections mini rose in yellow adorns the top corner and a Prima Cottage 

Blossom Baby Blue is centered on the Olive Green Pixie hand dyed seam binding ribbon.

The PDP Kits I've bought have turned into the best investment I've made in card

Floribunda!

The Vintage Look

I made this card with some of my paper scraps, and it has turned out to be my favorite of 

all the cards I've made. I embellished with a Tim Holtz bauble, Prima glittered flower, Graphic 45 Staples Stickers and a Lost and Found brad. The scalloped oval was cut with a Nestabilities die and inked with Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink. 

Ahhh Spring

I know spring is not officially here, but the weather today is telling me it is!

I have daffodils coming up in the flower beds to prove it!

This card is made from Making Memories Eiffel Tower DP and My Minds Eye 

Madison Avenue DP in a border strip punched with a Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch.

Recollections rose and leaves glittered with Twinklets Diamond Dust, edged seam binding ribbon, 

 white tulle and a pearl and rhinestone stick pin.

A Making Memories dimensional sticker from their Je t'Adore collection on half of a K & Co mini tag

adorned with Cotton Candy Stickles and clear rhinestones.

Here I used Prima's Jack and Jill collection Sunny Meadow as my background and Green Fields for a border strip that I punched with a Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch.

I combined a Prima notecard and Tim Holtz ornate plate for my stamped sentiment.

Liberally glittered Prima and Recollections flowers and a Tim Holtz grungeboard flourish.

Seam binding ribbon and American Crafts trim.

More Jack and Jill paper... Ode To Joy and Green Fields matched up with American Crafts

Pastel Yellow cardstock. Joy is spelled out in Prima cream alpha stickers. Add a bit of Ranger's Distress Ink in Vintage Photo around the opening I cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Classic Scalloped Circle.

Sky Blue seam binding ribbon and a Prima Cottage Blossom.

My sweet little bird was cut with Tim Holtz's Caged Bird die in Jack and Jill Day Dreamer paper.

I inked it with Ranger's Distress Ink in Faded Jeans and Vintage Photo. A clear rhinestone for his eye and amber for the butterfly wings.

Card Making and Sunshine

It was a beautiful, sunny day here in Ohio, but a lot of flooding in some areas around us from 

the recent storms. I was able to make five cards and my hubby the Penmaker turned three pens. Will post those tomorrow.
