At Home With Best Wishes

I have a son who is an amazing writer. I've done my best to coerce him into doing my
titles for me to no avail. When I click on the New Post tag and Title opens up... my brain shuts down. Thus the kindergarden variety of wording you see here. Ahhh well!

This Home card reminds me of when I was a little girl...
kitchen wall paper, doilies on the end tables and my Mom sewing buttons back on our clothes.
Don't you just adore the vintage papers?

My other son bought me this vase years ago at a local
antique shop. I may need to do a vignette in my kitchen using these two.

The papers are October Afternoon's Needs Paint (front & back) and Strawberry
Jam (front & back). The banner and alphas are from My Minds Eye Tickled Pink Banner Stickers used here with baker's twine.

The chickens are from a sheet of German lithographs I bought on Etsy.

My Best Wishes card is made of the new Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante Collection papers.
The colors in this collection are super gorgeous and they have these terrific punch-out tags to coordinate with them. I used American Crafts cardstock in Vanilla and Apricot.

The Best Wishes tag was a gift I received with my chipboard purchase from a sweet lady on Etsy.

Fussy-cut the roses from Fantasy Floral,
attached with 3-D foam squares and glued on some Swarovski crystals.

Added the 3-D foam squares to these gears also. The snippet of
paper doily was left over from the Home card. (See Lauren you have me thinking "thrifty"- cha-ching!)

Finished up with a butterfly glittered with Twinklets Diamond Dust. This was taken
from that fabulous sheet of American Crafts Delightful Robin diecut paper. You know, now that I look back on this card, I see several items that came out of my Pixie Dust Paperie Kits. I LOVE those kits!!!
Hope you have a Happy Day!!!

Both cards a re gorgeous; I love the fuzzy cut roses on your second card.
The first one is my favorite; I love everything vintage and this card is stunning. It made think of my mum too; so many sweet and pricless memories!
