G45 Wind-Up Woman Pocket Card

I LOVE most of Graphic 45's collections and the Olde Curiosity Shoppe is one of the top on my list... but then I LOVE the steampunk look. My papers are nearly all used up, and these are really hard to find. I need to take a trip back to Pigeon Forge and see if there are any left at Your Scrapbook Super Store. Do you think I can talk the Penmaker into that? Doubtful! LOL

I put metal gears and a timepiece (from Hobby Lobby) and Prima screw heads together for the industrial look. Speaking of Hobby Lobby, they have a fabulous selection of embellishments (their label, I think... Paper Studio?) and always seem to have them on sale.

Antique Bronze corner piece from The Funkie Junkie. The Filmstrip ribbon is by Idea-ology.

The black bird is from Momenta and the tiny distress yellow flowers are by Petaloo.

Petaloo's Botanica and a metal leaf from The Funkie Junkie.

I have been swamped with work lately, but yesterday managed a trip over to Ikea in Pittsburg. We needed a few more dinner plates for Thanksgiving, and since time is running out before all the cooking starts, we took a half day off. It turned out we picked the right time, because we arrived just as they opened and the store was empty. It was very strange to shop, and have the isles to ourself. A first! Later in the day, we made a run to Pat Catan's in Canton. They were busier. We picked up some storage boxes on sale, more Bo Bunny vintage papers, antique bronze jump rings, tiny red clothes pins, silver timepiece charms and Tombow glue. I think we walked down every isles talking about what we could do with all the supplies. What a fun evening!

Thanks for stopping by... I so appreciate it!
