The Season of Giving Christmas Pocket Card

I just love red and white. I love red gingham. I love Teresa Collins' Santa List collection from last year because of the color scheme. Red and white with a hint of Christmas green... yes! I love it!!! Even though I use some non-traditional colors for Christmas... red, white and green are still my favorites.

I did add in a bit of Bo Bunny here for some contrast, but stuck with TC for the bulk.

I bought the pearl trim at Pat Catans and the red gingham stretchy, ruffled ribbon came from an online shop several years ago. Seriously, I sometimes buy supplies and don't use them for ages, then one day... boom... just the right thing at the right time. I'll bet you do that, too! Correct?

A red Petaloo Botanica, a red Petaloo poinsettia, and a Prima red bead, glitter spray (from the Prima Special Delivery Christmas kit.) I put in a couple of I Am Roses green leaves for color and a few Petaloo white velvet holly leaves.

The layers of die cuts are Spellbinder's Scalloped Ovals, Oval Floral, and Framed Floral.

I also added some loops of natural May Arts burlap string for more texture. The Distress Ink is Walnut Stain. My tag is embellished with a wide silver eyelet, white seam binding bow, and a silver snowflake charm.

I have yet to start my Christmas gift shopping aside from a couple of small things we bought in Tennessee in October for one of our grandsons. I've had a headache since Thanksgiving... either from too much sugar (haha) or the change in the weather. Anyway, we haven't braved the stores yet, and I just may do most of our buying online like I did last year. A computer is a wonderful thing!!! How are you shopping this holiday?

Thanks for stopping by... I so appreciate it!
