Paper Bag Mini Album With 75 Cents

Stephanie Miller (With a Grin)
made a darling mini album on Prima's Ustream class a few weeks ago. It was so cute... I just had to try making one! She created hers with the Prima Delight collection, but since my order for the 6" x 6" pad hadn't arrived yet, I used Kaisercraft's 75 Cents.

Each page is made from
a folded 3.5" x 2" x 6.75" paper bag. I buy the Recollections brand at Michaels. The top of the bag now forms the end flap and can hold a gift card or a photo.
The flowers on the cover
are by Petaloo and Prima, I Am Roses leaves, May Arts natural burlap string, a Prima clock and charms from my stash.

The die cuts are from
Kaisercraft's 75 Cents Collectables, Petaloo and Prima flowers, Prima Say It In Crystals.

My Minds Eye brad, May Arts ivory burlap string.

Heart die cut from an Etsy
store, kraft tag by Spare Parts, Petaloo flowers.

Black metal bird by Momenta,
an old rub-on from my stash, Graphic 45 Staples key and key hole stickers, tag from Kraft Outlet.

My Minds Eye brad,
Maya Road notecards, wide eyelets from We R Memory Keepers, binder rings from 7 Gypsies.

Pocket Box Mini Album... Stephanie Miller Inspired

In April, the dynamic
bundle of scrappy happy energy... Steff Miller, posted a fabulous Mini Album in a Box that she was inspired to make from a pin by Jenny Dahlqvist. To my sorrow, Steff didn't do a tutorial. I, among so many others, commented that we really just had to have one... please! Well, being the fantastic lady that she is, Steff came through, and last week did her Live with Prima spot showing, step by step, how to make her Pocket Box Mini. I was quite eager to follow along...

Lots of photos,
I know... minis are hard to photograph if you want to show it all. I wanted to use up a lot of scraps and older papers and supplies... so I pulled out...
Prima's Fairy Belle collection

Chipboard piece: Prima

Lace: Hobby Lobby

Please be sure to
pop over to Steff's blog and see all her amazing mini albums... then watch her create them on her You Tube channel. She is one amazing woman!

Paper Bag Mini Album

If you visit my
blog regularly, no doubt you know that I'm in love with Prima's Engraver collection. Here is another project I've made using Engraver plus two tiny paper bags...

No kidding...
the base of this album is just two black 3.5" x 2" x 6.75" paper bags (I bought the Celebrate It brand from Michaels). A while back, Stephanie Miller announced on her blog that she would be making a super cute and easy mini album with Engraver March 29th on Live with Prima. I assembled all my "ingredients" and anxiously waited for the date. Stef seems to have an amazing amount of energy and puts it to good use pumping out one fabulous mini album after another.

There are so many
places in this little mini to put photos or to journal... and you actually can add more wherever you want.

Photo spots.

More photo spots.

A tag pocket.

The back section
lifts up to reveal more pockets and space for photos... and the size is just perfect to tuck into your purse and pull out at a moments notice to reveal photos of your grandchildren (for those blessed) to unsuspecting friends.

I made this one for
my future daughter-in-law, and put in a couple photos to get her started.

Another pocket for
journaling spots and space for a photo.

If you're interested
in making one of these, here are the complete instructions on Live with Prima .

Grungy And Sweet

Todays journal page
is a result of inspiration I received from Zorana (remember the printables) and Anna Dabrowska (Live with Prima video).

Well, my little page
in no way comes close to what these mega talented girls produce... but they surely inspire me to stretch myself and try something I normally wouldn't do.

Lots of stamping,
rub-ons, spray, molding paste, gesso, cheesecloth, paper scraps, masking tape, ribbon, lace, tags, pearls, a Prima clock, Chit Chat stickers, mini paper clips and flowers.

Thank you ladies,
for giving me a push to be adventurous!
