At Home With Best Wishes

I have a son who is an amazing writer. I've done my best to coerce him into doing my
titles for me to no avail. When I click on the New Post tag and Title opens up... my brain shuts down. Thus the kindergarden variety of wording you see here. Ahhh well!

This Home card reminds me of when I was a little girl...
kitchen wall paper, doilies on the end tables and my Mom sewing buttons back on our clothes.
Don't you just adore the vintage papers?

My other son bought me this vase years ago at a local
antique shop. I may need to do a vignette in my kitchen using these two.

The papers are October Afternoon's Needs Paint (front & back) and Strawberry
Jam (front & back). The banner and alphas are from My Minds Eye Tickled Pink Banner Stickers used here with baker's twine.

The chickens are from a sheet of German lithographs I bought on Etsy.

My Best Wishes card is made of the new Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante Collection papers.
The colors in this collection are super gorgeous and they have these terrific punch-out tags to coordinate with them. I used American Crafts cardstock in Vanilla and Apricot.

The Best Wishes tag was a gift I received with my chipboard purchase from a sweet lady on Etsy.

Fussy-cut the roses from Fantasy Floral,
attached with 3-D foam squares and glued on some Swarovski crystals.

Added the 3-D foam squares to these gears also. The snippet of
paper doily was left over from the Home card. (See Lauren you have me thinking "thrifty"- cha-ching!)

Finished up with a butterfly glittered with Twinklets Diamond Dust. This was taken
from that fabulous sheet of American Crafts Delightful Robin diecut paper. You know, now that I look back on this card, I see several items that came out of my Pixie Dust Paperie Kits. I LOVE those kits!!!
Hope you have a Happy Day!!!

I Love You For Ever And Ever

Distressed this Mind Eye Paper up a bit around the edges and got the sewing machine back out.
I have noooooo more space in my craft room to sew, so the machine has to sit on the dining room table. That's ok though... I have good light out there.

I used My Minds Eye Girlfriends (front & back) and Making Memories
Eiffel Tower (front & back) papers. This is a Making Memories Dimensional Sticker.

Found these great roses and leaf trim on Etsy. The lace is from American Crafts.

"I Love You"

Finished this card today after struggling with it last night.
Why is it that you sometimes just can't get it right? I had everything before me, but couldn't bring it together. Guess I needed a good night's sleep.

The papers I used are Pink Paislee Sweetest Day, Glitz Hoopla Polka
and American Crafts Classics Treasure Island. Added some bling for a little sparkle.

I fussy-cut the roses from Pink Paislee Picture Perfect paper.

Finished with a Pixie Cotton Ball seam binding ribbon bow, a pearl
rhinestone stick pin, a Tim Holtz bauble and a Making Memories sticker sentiment. Nearly all of the elements came from my Floribunda Kit. You can purchase yours at The Pixie Dust Paperie Shop.

Hurray!!! My Prize

My thanks to CupCards {to go} for the lovely gift they sent me for being their March Blog Hop Winner.

Kit Cards

Ahhh... back from our trip and welcomed with more snow.
The field at the edge of our property has now become part of the river... it's beautiful though, isn't it!

Made two cards using my Pixie Dust Paperie kits.
This one is from the Springtime Pixie Kit. LOVE these Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime papers.

I painted the chipboard frame with Ranger's Snow Cap Dabber paint and sprinkled it
with Twinklets Diamond Dust. Pixie seam binding ribbon bow embellished with a Girls Paperie Vintage Button at the top corner...

and some American Crafts trim and Ranger's Cotton Candy Stickles at the bottom.

The supplies to make this card came from the new Floribunda Kit. I fussy-cut the roses from
the Pink Paislee Picture Perfect paper. American Crafts cardstock and Glitz Stripe form the background. The border is Pink Paislee Sweetest Day cut with Martha Stewart's Doily Lace Edge Punch.

A Tim Holtz ornate plate with two baubles frame my sentiment.

I added a Recollections mini rose to my Pixie Baby's Breath seam binding ribbon bow.
Some of the beautiful yellow glitter finished out my first Floribunda card.
Hope you like them!
