The challenge at City Crafter this week
has the theme By the Sea. I was really up for this one when I saw the card Guest Designer Steph D. had created and the beautiful work of the Design Team.
Alas, when I went to choose my papers and embellies I discovered
that I am really lacking in the beachy/sea department. Then I remembered my trip to Gettysburg and Forevermore Scrapbooks.
While there shopping, I had purchased a sheet of Webster's Pages
Yacht Club - Captain's Notes. Ahhh.... it had a sea gull on one side and stars on the other... perfect. It paired beautifully with Prima's Botanical - True Words.
I got to use my new MS Oak Leaf punch on some Pine American
Crafts cardstock for my Springtime Pixie Kit. Also found a brass button in my stash with an anchor on it... yes!
Made a copy of this US Coast Guard compass that
I cut with Spellbinders Labels One and inked with Ranger's Antique Linen. That's my entry.
Have a Happy Day!
