ATC Creating with the Girls

Penny - age 11

 Dixie - age 5

 Mine - ageless

Two of our granddaughters spent this last weekend with us, and with our daughter-in-law and her baby girl who live with us, the Penmaker was totally out numbered. After watching several cartoons, I broke out some supplies and we tried a technique I saw the other day on YouTube.

We cut watercolor paper to 3.5" x 4.5", sprayed with water, and dropped on blobs of mica powders. More water, more mica. Dried with the heat tool. Now drops and sprays of Lindy's Starbursts. Heat tool. Some stamping with Archival Jet Black ink. Heat tool. A bit of Stickles here and there and Distress Ink sponged on the edges. A fun project and simple enough for 5 and 11 year old crafters.

Thank you for stopping by!

What fun to be able to craft with your Grankids, and they did such a wonderful job! I guess the talent must run in the family! Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog Linda, you do great work and I am now your newest follower. hugs :)
