ATC Creating with the Girls

Penny - age 11

 Dixie - age 5

 Mine - ageless

Two of our granddaughters spent this last weekend with us, and with our daughter-in-law and her baby girl who live with us, the Penmaker was totally out numbered. After watching several cartoons, I broke out some supplies and we tried a technique I saw the other day on YouTube.

We cut watercolor paper to 3.5" x 4.5", sprayed with water, and dropped on blobs of mica powders. More water, more mica. Dried with the heat tool. Now drops and sprays of Lindy's Starbursts. Heat tool. Some stamping with Archival Jet Black ink. Heat tool. A bit of Stickles here and there and Distress Ink sponged on the edges. A fun project and simple enough for 5 and 11 year old crafters.

Thank you for stopping by!
Linda

Wow. Just goes to show you that your granddaughters are aesthetes just like their grandmother. :) I like *everyone's* art featured here today!
