A birthday pocket card today using up old hoarded papers and lots of new die. The old papers I'm referring to are Webster's Pages (?), Prima's 6x6" paper pad Delight, and Prima's Lifetime.
Two of my new die are Alterations Thinlits Stitched Ovals and Doily 2. I cut the doily out of the Lifetime paper then gave it a few passes through some squished Distressed inks (Broken China and Evergreen Bough) on my craft mat along with a spray or two of water.
With Alterations Bigz Mosaic die, I cut the Delight and two pieces of black cardstock. I adhered the three into a stack to give the pieces a bolder look. I arranged them, adding in a Prima ceramic tile of like colors and a tiny silver key. A few blue pearls tied in the ones on the flowers, which are from Petaloo.
Since it's a bird theme, I decided a add some feathers to match... love the soft look it adds along with the teal fabric flowers.
Have a happy Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!
Linda
