A couple of years ago,
Sept. 21, 2011 to be exact, Tracy, at her I Wanna Build A Memory blog, did a tutorial on making a triple pocket tea bag holder card (here). To top it off, she did one of her fabulous videos on YouTube. (I think most of you know by now that I'm a scrapin' video fanatic, and I would love to see Tracy do lots more on YT).
When I needed a get
well card last week, I thought that her pattern for the TPTBH would be the perfect style of card to send my friend that's recovering from surgery. Since I still had most of the makin's out on my desk from the Simple Treasures Journal Mini Album, I decided to go around with that again, and use the Kaisercraft's Curiosity collection. I did the base in Recollection's kraft cardstock. The beautiful bloom on the cover is by Petaloo (purchased at 40% off when Archivers had their last big store-wide sale).
After making all those
pockets in my previous project, this was just a natural flow. I created an additional tag for my sentiment (not shown) and tucked it into the semi-transparent bag along with this one I made using Distress Inks in Antique Linen, Evergreen Boughs and Bundled Sage.
Be sure to visit Tracy's blog
for some high-powered inspiration. She is such a talented lady and one of the sweetest bloggers I have the pleasure of following.
