Christmas Tag "Joy"

This morning I was finally
able to photograph the three Christmas tags I created awhile back. The weather is grey, overcast and generally gloomy, but I hope you'll be able to get a feel for this tag in spite of the bad lighting.

I purchased Kaisercrafts
St. Nicholas collection, but instead of diving into it, I decided to go with their last years Just Believe (which is my absolute favorite for Christmas projects... in fact, I ordered more from an Ebay shop just this morning!) This pretty little bird was cut from Alterations Bird Branch and the pine is from Tattered Pinecone. Joy is stamped with Forest Moss Distress Ink using my cheap, dollar alpha stamp set from Michaels.

The red tag was cut
with Alterations Tiny Tabs & Tags die and topped with a snowflake cut with a 1 inch round punch using the Kaisercraft 6.5 inch Just Believe paper pad. It's attached to the two colors of seam binding and May Arts ivory burlap string bow with an Idea-ology jump ring. The top layer of patterned paper was embossed with Alterations Snow Flurries Texture Fade and the edges as well as the raised embossing pattern are all inked with Frayed Burlap DI.

I've been struggling with a
sinus infection for the last couple weeks and to top it off arthritis flared up in both hands and my left wrist and shoulder. Makes paper crafting a bit difficult. Nevertheless, I did complete one of the Christmas mini albums and am still enjoying the fun of creating. God is SO good!!!
Have a wonderful Monday!

Thanks for stopping by!
Linda
