This birthday pocket
card was created for our son-in-law's birthday which was last month. To be truthful, I'm having a hard time remembering how I put this together. LOL... I really don't know what paper collection I used as I made this some time ago (it has to be Graphic 45 judging from the foliage). The birthday boy banner is definitely Graphic 45's Place in Time.
The dies I used are
Alterations Spring Greenery and Mini Paper Rosettes. The one lone flower is a Petaloo Darjeeling in red.
The bottle cap is one
my son gave me and the rest of the metals are by Prima and Spare Parts from Hobby Lobby.
I created the #8 tag
with Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo Distress inks for the background... some random stamping and various Idea-ology tissue tapes. Burlap string in natural is the bow.
I scored the bottom
of the tag, turned it up and glued the sides forming a shallow pocket to hold a gift card.
Have a great Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!
Linda

Haha, you sound like me, Linda! I never can remember anything anymore. :) What a fabulous card this is! Love, love, love that gorgeous collection of foliage and metal bits. And what a great idea you had folding up the bottom of the tag to hold a gift card. Love that!
